Hp Cord To Charge Dell Laptop

Used to connect between HP laptop docking station and Dell monitor. Worked well.

Bought one back in December to use my old Apple Thunderbolt monitor with my Dell laptop. Once I went through the process of updating *ALL* the drivers and the motherboard BIOS, it worked perfectly. And then, tragedy struck. My laptop decided to give up the ghost and I opted to get a lighter HP, so I returned my Dell docking station to work and waited for the wheels of corporate bureaucracy to churn until I got a new one for my HP. It took 7 months, but I got it this past weekend. AND IT STILL WORKED! I fired it up connected to the TB Monitor and it came right up, even before updating everything (which I did). Come Monday morning (today), I have a MASSIVE 27" monitor to work off of.

I had a dell docking station but it would not allow me to turn on the laptop from it. I could only turn on or wake up the laptop by opening it up. The HP docking station allows the me to turn the laptop on without having to open it up. Please with my HP docking station

I primarily use this to charge my dell laptop that uses a 90W USB-C, but I appreciate how it can charge any of the USB devices that I haul around. I was most impressed by the informative display that shows the amount and direction of energy flow through the ports. I also like the texture of the exterior material.

The monitor is outstanding for what I need. I use it as a work monitor, and I love the fact that the USB cord can charge my laptop. It has significantly reduced the cord clutter on my desk. The screen clarity is sharp and I can have multiple window open across the wide display. More importantly, the experience of purchasing through B&H was outstanding. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can use this charging cord while I work on my computer laptop for work. It easily connects to the USB-C port on the laptop and it only took a few minutes to charge up my phone. I was pleasantly surprised because usually the computer charging cords are slower to charge than the wall outlet. But this one worked great.

Plugged into HP power supply with a 7.4mm plug and was able to charge a HP laptop with with a 4.5mm charge port.
