I upgraded from an HP inkjet All-in-one printer. I'm a casual user with my inkjet. I was replacing cartridges every 2 months. So I decided to upgrade to a Laser to save money on ink. The printer is much quieter than my old one (Hp Inkjet All-in-one) and when compared to other brands. There is a quiet setting that makes it even quieter, but this occurs at the sacrifice of some speed. The fax machine is pretty standard for all faxes. I am very impressed with the MFC-L8900-CDW's ability to customize scan functions. I have mine configured with icons to scan to my Windows desktop, scan to my personal email, scan to flash drive or phone. The quiet function is great (definitely can tell a difference) from my old printer. Overall, this is a great printer. One of the best multi-function machines you could buy. I highly recommend it!

HP has built a solid, yet power-packed workstation that's thin and high on function. For the photographer that needs RAM (up to 32 Gb), matte screen (4K DreamColor), integrated SD reader, and fast disk speeds, this machine is a great fit. I did not spring for the Xeon and don't think I'll miss it. This computer comes with a 3/3/3 warranty that includes phone support. Having used it a couple of times, I have only good things to say---they are professionals and know how to support their product.

The bane of any printer, is merely getting it "to talk" with your computer is probably causes the most number of delays in workflow and quite frankly, kills the momentum. That is not the case with the HP Designjet Studio, It practically takes no effort to connect this printer to the network or your home office Wifi, and from there you can print from anywhere in the world with a internet connection. With the DirectLink function, I can send a personalized link/passcode to consultants/subcontactors/designers, etc. and they can print directly to this printer. This function alone has been a godsend. and has been working flawlessly since day one. When I first unpacked the printer, I had no idea it was a multi-function printer, It can not only print large scale, but also 8.5x11, 11x17, and smaller formats. With that I , got rid of my bulky laser printer. The HP DesignJet Studio is sleek, stylish and modern and becomes the centerpiece to any office. It prints fast and clean. What more can you ask for. HP has always been a trusted brand with a long history of outperforming the competition.
