I tried using this adapter with a cheap USB car charger and it didn't work. I upgraded to a 12watt USB car charger and it works great. 5 |

It is what it is, a charger. Nice that it comes with 12vdc car adapter also. Battery fits well, just pay attention the first few times you use it. It's not the greatest battery alignment system but it works well once you charged a couple batteries and get the feel for it. The adapter plate is removable from the charger base. Maybe you can find other plates to fit different batteries types (mixed camera users) and not need to pack/manage two charging systems. Over-all it's a no brainer for NEX users that have the models with built-in chargers. Can even use it to charge you usb type phone while in the car. 5 |
