Super bright, beautiful screen. I love it. Upgraded from a 23 inch HP all in one with Windows 10. Windows 11 is a significant enhancement One minor gripe: the stand connection point at the back of the computer was loose when I assembled it. It caused the right side of the screen to drop down about an inch. My expedient fix was to insert a bent paper clip into the connection point. Should I have returned everything for a perfect all in one? Maybe! But, my bottom line is I am very satisfied with this HP all in one.

I use this with a Windows VM on my laptop (Fedora), where I passed the dedicated GPU through to the Windows guest for gaming, and the screen streams back to the host with an application called Looking Glass. The dongle is exactly what I needed to make the whole thing work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited when my LG monitor arrived! I have been using a laptop screen along with a small second screen but knew I needed even more screen space to be as efficient as possible. The LG UltraWide 49-inch monitor is big, really big! It provides all the space I need! I can have at least 4 full-size browser windows open at a time and many more smaller windows open if I choose. The unboxing and stand assembly was super easy. The stand attaches without tools and I had the monitor together and on my desk within minutes. I very quickly realized my existing desk setup was not going to be deep enough - which is not a bad thing! I will trade having this new monitor for an adjustment to my desktop any day! I am very impressed with the stand. You can adjust the monitor to a wide range of heights and you can also tilt the monitor horizontally and vertically to meet your needs. LG hit it out of the park when it comes to the stand! But I am most happy with the screen itself, of course. I have the resolution set as high as it will go - 5120 x 1440 - and it is super sharp and super clear. The on-screen settings are simple to navigate and well engineered. The monitor connected flawlessly with my laptop. One cool perk - the monitor charges my laptop so I don't have to use my laptop's charging cord. Saves on space and cord clutter. I am very happy with my LG UltraWide monitor. I would recommend it to anyone!

Use it for Windows 8 on old laptop and desktops. It has the same function on touch pad instead of screen. Allow touch screen functions away from computer when you lean back on couch. Nothing negative for comment. Great price! Would like to have backlite keyboard with solar panel.

This laptop is an outstanding value! I’m a Mac guy, and needed a Windows machine for certain bits of software. The screen resolution is impressive. Signing-in with facial recognition is incredibly handy. The built-in camera cover is a thoughtful feature. AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat run very well and the previously mentioned screen resolution makes work easy on the eyes. Touchscreen? Backlit keyboard? At a mid-$600 price point are surprising features. I’d buy this laptop again.

My previous laptop was HP Spectre x360, but this time I chose HP Envy, I don't need touch screen, higher resolution with clear screen is more important. And also, I chose 32GB on board memory. That was very good for the smooth performance. Keyboard is soft and good, but the speaker is not Bang & Olufsen speakers that HP Spectre had it. But laptop speaker is small, I don't see any distinctive difference between old and current model. Overall performance is very satisfactory. I used to run 20 Chrome browser taps and about same number of Bing browser, and I don't see any performance degradation. Same on MS office.
