I am using two older HP monitors, HP w2408h and HP w2338h to interface with my HP (Windows 10 only) Pavillion desktop until the windows 10 update cut off happens next year. When I learned the Surface Dial can be used with my non-Surface Windows 10 PC, I bought it as a perfect solution to having a volume knob to mute and control the volume as I listen to video with widely varying volumes between program segments and advertisements.
