[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a hobbyist photographer/videographer (I sell products but it's not my full time job) and this monitor has been excellent so far for editing. For the past several years my setup has been three 27" QHD (2K) monitors, but I recently got into drone photography and decided to replace one of the monitors with something bigger to help with editing the larger landscape photos (it has helped). I also recently built a new computer and wanted to get a 4K monitor to take advantage of the upgraded video card (that was more of a "want" than a "need" but it was definitely worth it). As for gaming, I'm way too old to be hardcore lol. For the games I do play - WOW, (non-hardcore) MOBA, strategy/simulations, etc - this monitor is a huge upgrade from a 27" QHD and delivers excellent performance. The monitor arrived well packaged with no dead pixels or any other problems. The stand isn't anything fancy but it serves its purpose - height & angle adjustability more than meet my needs (I'll probably eventually get an arm and mount it like my other 2 monitors to free up some desk space). There were some cables in the box but my desk is a little distance from my computer so I ordered a longer cable (Cable Matters DP 1.4, 16 feet) for 20 bucks and it works fine. The monitor's color gamut and brightness are great for my needs and it calibrated easily using my Spyder. I haven't used the speakers. If you need more than a billion colors, built-in hardware color calibration or an insane refresh rate, this monitor isn't for you - you'll either need to get a smaller monitor pay a lot more. But for general use, this is great monitor for the price! I've had it for 2 weeks and am very happy with the purchase.

I recently picked up the LG 27 ULTRAGEAR™ QHD monitor, and it's been a revelation for my gaming and everyday computer use. The difference the 240Hz refresh rate makes in smoothness is amazing—everything from scrolling through web pages to moving windows around feels more fluid. Movies and games look incredibly sharp. It's not the cheapest monitor out there, but considering how much it's improved my daily computer experience, I'd say it's been a fantastic investment.

I went from having two 27 inch curved monitor to this. I love the display. I switch between my work laptop and my PC so having the multiple ports was perfect. I haven't had any issues with it. Gaming on it is nice. Plenty of space to view multiple things or just take up all the space using full screen.

I've been using the Dell UltraSharp 38 1600p Curved Monitor for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The expansive 38-inch curved display immerses you in your work or entertainment, providing a truly panoramic viewing experience. The 1600p resolution delivers stunning clarity and sharpness, making everything from text to images look incredibly detailed. One of the standout features of this monitor is its color accuracy. With 100% sRGB and 99% Rec709 color coverage, colors are vibrant and true to life, which is essential for my photo and video editing work. The factory calibration ensures that the colors are spot-on right out of the box. The curved design is not just aesthetically pleasing but also functional. It reduces eye strain and provides a more natural field of view, which is particularly beneficial during long working sessions. The build quality is top-notch, with a sleek, premium finish that complements any workspace. Connectivity options are plentiful with USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort inputs, making it easy to connect multiple devices. The USB-C port also supports power delivery, which is a great convenience for charging my laptop while using the monitor. Ergonomics are well thought out, with adjustable height, tilt, and swivel options, ensuring that I can set up the monitor for maximum comfort. The on-screen display menu is intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing for quick adjustments to settings. In summary, the Dell UltraSharp 38 1600p Curved Monitor is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to upgrade their display setup. Whether you're a creative professional or simply want an outstanding monitor for general use, this model delivers in every aspect. Highly recommended!

I saw a review for a Wacom Cintiq QHD 27” (about 20 pounds) with this arm and I compared the weight to my new Cintiq Pro 24” (about 15 pounds) they werent too far away from one another. I didn’t see a problem so I tried it as the specs said that the arm can accommodate 20-25 pounds of weight. Of course you still need to get the Wacom VESA Mount (about 4 pounds) with this Desk Arm Mount for it to work, and it works! See images!

I bought the Dell 27 4K UHD HDR IPS monitor to pair with a HP mini workstation. It's not quite as elegant as my BenQ monitor that I use for photo processing, but it's significantly cheaper and will be used mainly for work and general computer usage. I consider it a good purchase.

This monitor is really amazing. I had a moment of this is what color looks like?! at first, similar to when I got higher end speakers and said this is what music sounds like?!. I learned a lot about WOLED (current LG tvs) vs true RGB OLED (this panel) and how JOLED makes this specific display. Prior I had a 27 inch HP (S2721QS) and the main use is a workstation PC working from home and occasional light gaming. While the monitor is way overkill for my use (I don't do content creation or color correction), I love it and have no regrets even when considering the steep price point. That's just how it is right now given the manufacturing of this size OLED hardly exists. Sadly this is not as bright as my HP but blows it away in everything else. The viewing angles are crisp and improved and while I previously thought 27 inches was perfect for a workstation, I am now sold on the 31.5 inch size. I have enabled dark mode on every application and website that I can and the colors are just electric and amazing. The stand is ugly at the base but still nicely functional, I have the LG mounted on an Ergotron HX Desk Monitor Arm and even though the LG is far below the weight minimum it works just fine. At first I was confused why the bezels are so large but I've realized it needs some form of casing and it benefits from the large casing when I grab the monitor and move/tilt it on the monitor arm. I could do without the USB hub integrated and my real only dislike of this monitor is the noise the settings menu navigator makes upon pressing. Yes OLED monitors will get less expensive but sadly it will take a lot more time, and by that time micro LED or QDOLED might be the successor. Again, the size, the pixel density, the experience using this in the evening, the HDR, it's all just gorgeous.

I moved up from an ASUS 27in 1080 Monitor to this LG 32 QHD monitor with the adjustable stand. I like to watch movies and sports as well as do photographs. This does a good job on all that I want to do. I am using the display port with a Video card on a Dell XPS Desktop. Stand takes much less room on this monitor than the ASUS. Adjustments much easier also. So far love everything about this monitor.

I had hesitation to get a curved monitor, but took the chance and happy that I did.
