Hp Pavilion Plus 14 Wide Ultra Xga Laptop

I bought the Ruggard 14 Ultra Thin Laptop Sleeve to protect my new HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G when I travel. This sleeve fit my new ultrabook like a glove and I was very impressed with the padded inner lining. 5* for this product. And B&H had the best price.

I bought this laptop to replace my 7 year old HP Pavilion laptop. I was happy with the quality of the computer, as well as the Intel processor. It is a beautiful computer at a reasonable price.

I got this for an old hp pavilion 3000 series laptop and it works perfectly to expand the amount of ports you need, the transfer speeds aren't bad either, even with a more modern usb drive.

Replaced the original mechanical 1TB hard drive in our HP Pavilion laptop using the Samsung Migration software. Made an image copy of the old drive, removed the old drive and rebooted into all the content that was there before! Superfast boot, applications open in an instant. The old computer had a slot for the optane cache memory and this fit in the M2 slot with no problems. Like a new laptop for $100 bucks!

This works very well and holds my ultra wide without issue. Plus comes with cable management loops.

After much research, I decided on this lens over the 17-35mm f2.8. Landscape is my primary interest, and I wanted a lens to fill the bill between the ultra-wide 14-24 (a most excellent lens also) and my longer distance 80-400 zoom. The range of this lens did just that. After using it now for a while, I find it is on my camera most of the time. The 14-24 is a much more specialized lens, used for those ultra-wide shots. Unless you wish to get really up close and personal to your subject, the 24-70 will probably be a better lens choice. The 17-35 is a great lens too, but from many different reviews (thanks Ken Rockwell, for your unbiased opinions), this was the better way to go for me. I won't repeat all that has been said here about the 24-70, so keep reading if you need more convincing before plunking down your hard earned cash. If top quality in your images is a concern, this is one lens to buy. You can't blame the lens if your images aren't sharp! Add it to your cart - you won't be sorry. PS - Get a top quality filter to go with it from the start. No sense in buying a great lens and then buying a cheap inferior filter.

I love using old rangefinder glass on my GH2 but with a 2X crop I need to buy dedicated M43 wide angle and ultra-wide angle lenses. The effective 35 equivalent range of 14-24 covers all of my wide angle shooting needs. Even towards the 24mm range I prefer my 7-14 to the 14-140 kit zoom included with the camera. It also has a constant zoom so you can dramatically zoom and exaggerate perspective while shooting video. There is normal ultra-wide distortion at 7mm but Panasonic bodies will make some corrections. I have found the lens to be sharp and to autofocus quickly. For most casual and enthusiast shooters a 24mm equivalent wide angle is all you need. Anything wider has great dramatic potential but needs a little more skill and experience to make the greatly exaggerated perspectives and elongated distances work. If you are or aspire to be an ultra-wide shooter, this lens is a joy to use and worth every penny.I am ambivalent regarding criticisms about it not accepting a filter. Color correction filters are less relevant for digital. Though I think polarizers are a must for every other lens, they do not work with an ultrawide view,. Part of the image will filter glare and be darker while the other parts have a different polarized orientation and will be bright and glaring. The built in tulip shade offers some protection against bumps and screeches. Bokeh and narrow depth of field is normally my priority but one chooses an ultra-wide range to get everything into the image so you normally don't shoot with a fast aperture and throw the background into very soft focus. I am less bothered by the aperture of f4. With M43's wider field of focus I can keep more of the background relatively sharp at a brighter aperture.If you have M43 and the image possibilities tempt you, take the plunge and buy it.

Great lens for that ultra wide shot. 14 mm is just amazing. Corner distortion is visible but at 14 what do you expect. This is one of the few ultra wide zoom you can get a filter onto. No need for expensive filter set ups. Also decent at close focus. With this lens, 24-70 f4,50mm 1.8 and Nikon Z6 I weigh in at 6.2 lbs. in a small bag. My back thanks me every day.
