Hp Printer Software For Mac Wireless

My husbands HP wireless printer kept refusing to recognize my Mac. Getting the two to talk to each other was exceedingly difficult, and HP was no help at all. I gave up and bought an Epson. I've had other Epson products that I really like. Epson's products actually talk to my Mac.

I was tired of ink jets. I don't use the printer often so laser is great. I much prefer Canon to HP if for no other reason the HP software is invasive. I just want to install a driver not a suite of software. This printer is fast, first sheet out in under 15 seconds double sided. I love that I can print from my computer, tablet and phone. When my printer ran low on toner, HP's software let me know it was time to replace my cartridge and gave me the option of ordering it direct from them. What a convenience, no need to try to find the correct cartridge, because the printer tells them and the shipping was very speedy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP LaserJet 4001n is a monochrome laser printer. Below is a quick review of it. - **Print Quality**: Excellent print quality, even with small text and detailed graphs. - **Speed**: It has fast printing capabilities, with speeds up to 42 pages per minute. - **Paper Handling**: The printer comes with a 250-page paper tray, which I find convenient for reducing paper refills - **Connectivity**: While it includes Ethernet and USB connectivity, I have noted the lack of wireless capability as a downside. - **Ease of Use**: The setup is described as easy, and the printer is compatible with Windows 11 without the need for additional software. - **Reliability**: The printer is a reliable workhorse suitable for small office or home - **Price**: The printer is good value for its features Overall, the HP LaserJet 4001n seems to be a solid choice for those needing a dependable and efficient black-and-white printer. However, if wireless printing is a must-have feature for you, you might want to consider other models.

This is a great black and white printer.. It uses the large cartridge which saves money. Great if you don't want/need color printing. However, it was very difficult to set up for wireless feature. I had to have HP tech help and it took about 40 minutes for the tech person to get the wireless feature to work. Unless you are a "techie" you should just call HP for online help. Again, a great economical black and white printer.

I worried I would have difficulty setting up the printer as we aren't wireless here. Step 6, "Install Software," provided the website to download the current software/drivers from to my computer and I followed the online directions. Snap. A word to the wise: BEFORE doing any setup, look for the Serial Number on the printer and take a picture of it. I found it on the bottom of the printer. Once you fill the ink, you can't tip the copier to find it! I suggest a copy as you will have a ready reference anytime you need that serial number (or any other product info). We didn't and my husband had to hold the printer while I got under it to take a photo. I gave 4 stars on quality only because the power plug seemed to pop out too easily. I had my husband push it in and I think we're good now. If not, a little Gorilla tape should do it!

I purchased a new Mac Studio with OS Monterey 14.2. My old, but still working, HP DesignJet 111 would not work with the new Mac OS. HP was not offering a software update so ended up purchasing the HP T210 as a replacement so I could keep my small architecture practice working. I have AutoCAD LT installed on my new Mac. The new printer works great with the Mac Studio and the AutoCAD LT on the Mac. The T210 is a big improvement in response time from the Mac. The only drawback is I have a drawer full of inkjet cartridges that are not compatible with the new printer. Other than having no use for expensive printer ink, the T210 is a great upgrade over the old DesignJet 111.
