This laptop docking station's compatibility is universal and it is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.x and 7, macOS 10.14 or later, and ChromeOS 100 or later. Plug and play driver installation via Windows Update; manual driver installation on macOS. Dock does not charge host PC. I have already recommended the Plugable USB 3 Universal Docking Station for Dual Monitor to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and used this docking station to manage their dual monitors quite easily and they all love to use this device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nifty universal docking station that allows our household to switch seamlessly between an old school Lenovo T series laptop and a new generation Carbon X laptop. It supports multiple monitors, and various other peripherals while maintaining a small footprint. Highly recommend it.

I bought the HP docking station so that I could connect a company laptop to two 4K curved monitors and a keyboard and mouse plugged into an 4K KVM switch box and it works perfectly.

I work from home and use a laptop for work. This docking station allows me to work in a less cluttered area since all my cables are now located in the back of the laptop. The HP docking station is thin and does not take up much room either! Great product!

I had a dell docking station but it would not allow me to turn on the laptop from it. I could only turn on or wake up the laptop by opening it up. The HP docking station allows the me to turn the laptop on without having to open it up. Please with my HP docking station

It cost nearly twice as much but it actually works and is worth every penny. As a non-IT guy, I just wanted something that is simple to use and this is it.

I was able to set my displays without any issues. I like the multiple plug-in outlets on the docking station. It allows me to add various connect various cords for syncingto my laptop.
