Update can be done without old CPU with USB flash drive only.

If you have Sigma Art lenses...this is a must have tool to change focusing settings and update firmware.

Not much to say other than it was drop-dead simple to update the lens firmware with the USB dock.

Just remember to update the firmware.

I bought this to replace the USB cable that came with my Olympus OMD EM 1. It worked really well to update my firmware.

The Samson Q2U mic is absolutely excellent for any user. Be it streamer, podcaster, youtuber, general recording, zoom. Whatever your need is, a great mic is always appreciated! I get so many compliments in regards to the quality of how I sound. Because this is a dynamic mic, it does an excellent job of keeping the background noise level down, and only picking up what is nearest to the mic. It being both USB and XLR allows for its versatility to shine. There is also a firmware update that allows this mic to auto-turn on when connected to a USB source, that way you dont have to disconnect and reconnect the mic (a large complaint on this mic before the firmware update. After the update, you should be fine!).

Sigma has one up on the competition, this USB dock works really well and now I have access to my Sigma lens forever. I was able to update the firmware, customize some settings and fine tune focus, works great with easy to use software.

I like the idea of being able to update firmware and make changes to a lens. The software for the USB Dock requires a computer with Windows 7 and newer although I have the previous version, Windows Vista. The download went fine and the software seems to work with Vista. The firmware of my 18-300mm lens was up to date. I played around with the focus settings but have not made any final settings. Very easy to go back to the default settings. I plan to buy other Sigma lenses that this will work with.

Purchased 8/15/17 - had the HSS firmware update. Tested out HSS on XPro 2 work great. Flash seems well built, use it in manual mode mostly been fine. The controls on back of flash easy to use & see in low light, swivel & tilt range of flash head excellent for bouncing needs. I wish the i40 was built this exact same way,
