Hp Victus 15 Gaming Laptop Specs

I bought HP's Victus 15L gaming tower about a year ago and finally felt it was time for an upgrade from the 8GB it shipped with (full disclosure, this is all because Armored Core VI requires 12 minimum). Easy swap out, works great, didn't really need the low-profile aspect as it turned out but it's perfectly good regardless.

I was looking for a 15 inch gaming laptop and I saw this on the B&H website. I was impressed by the specs and brought it. Since it had two SSD slots, one empty, I purchased a 1TB SSD and installed it, no problem. The Asus Tuf Gaming Laptop boots in seconds and the battery life is far beyond impressive, non-gaming, it lasts since most gaming laptops are bad on battery life. It has no DVD drive since it's military specs and no card reader which I purchased later. Excellent.

If you want a great gaming laptop? This is it. The specs are great. No lag. Just top of the line.

I am learning to enjoy my ASUS 15.6 Vivobook. It is a replacement for my nearly 14 year old laptop that has seen better days. I am on a limited budget, but I didn't want mediocre specs that would be outdated in 6 months. I do mainly internet browsing, some productivity work (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.), some low intensity gaming, and on occasion some video editing for my socials. Bottom line - You should probably get one while qtys and pricing are good. Pros - It has the specs I wanted (i9 CPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) at a great price. More than enough computing power for gaming, casual internet browsing, and the occasional homework/essay. It included FREE 2-Day Shipping - I am on the West Coast. Screen colors are vibrant, keyboard is keyboard-y with backlit keys. The laptop itself is not the lightest out there, but is hardly the boat anchor ROG ASUS I still own that is on its last legs. It's offered thru a reputable dealer. Cons (ish) - Only 1920x1080 resolution and no touchscreen. I haven't really encountered any other negatives so far. It's been a while since I purchased MY own laptop. To be transparent, I have helped recommend and even purchased several laptops over the years for my family and friends. My previous-current laptop is a still-running ASUS G51J (i7 CPU 1st Gen, 6GB RAM, 500GB 2.5 HDD) - battery doesn't charge, but still works plugged in. I purchased it from B&H also circa 2010. Being a frugal tinkerer myself, but wanting the best value for my budget, I researched and compared several buying sources including big box stores, national (U.S.) retail chains and even Amazon, but I still chose B&H. Even though I am on the West Coast, I still found value in the products they offer as well as the service and buying experience. Did I mention FREE 2-Day shipping from the East Coast (NY). Works just fine on my HP Zbook G4 15 laptop

Bought this product for my Razer Blade 15. This laptop tends to have extremely high temps during gaming (95C+) and I wanted to find a way to get something that wasn't as obtrusive as a cooling pad. A friend recommended this product as they had bought one for their MBP saying that he felt like it worked. I haven't seen temps above 91C since and even 91 is rare and it does not stay there. I see on average about a 7C improvement, which is well worth the money to me as well as having a better height for my display. The product itself is really well made and the finishing is superb. I expect this to last me a lifetime or for as long as i'm using a laptop that fits on this stand.

I've got an HP 15-bs234wm laptop and decided to upgrade from the factory 4gb RAM to this Crucial 8gb RAM and I am extremely satisfied. Laptop feels like it's been opened up and is noticeably snappier. B&H had one of the best prices out there on this particular item and I didn't hesitate to order from them.
