I have a wonderful hp black and white laser printer that finally ran out of toner. It was simple to find the cartridge using the hp smart app which knew exactly what i needed. It was very easy for purchase. The hp printers and the hp smart app are fabulous.

This HP 85A Black Original Laser Jet Toner Cartridge, CE285A is as good as it gets. I have two HP Printers with my HP LaserJet P1102w being my primary one, I'm hoping HP keeps making a Laser Jet printer that takes the 85A/CE285A Cartridge as it is very economical for everyday use where only black ink is required.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a steady HP Black and White laser printer user for years, and have NEVER had a problem. Software downloads easy, loads and only infrequently do I have paper jam issues. So far so good with this one as well. This is the 1st version I've had that duplexes, which is a big plus for me, who has historically manually fed every other page in order to print on both sides. Scanner is easy as well.

I have had my HP Laser jet P1006 for several years and love it. The black cartridge usually gives me several thousand copies that are very clear. No smudging. sometimes when I'm reaching the end of a cartridge I can cokes it to print more by rolling the cartridge back and forth. that will get me by while I wait for my new one to arrive. Very pleased with both printer and cartridge.

My old HP laser printer was acting up. By replacing the black toner (which was low) the printer was back on track. Thank you HP for your engineering expertise when you designed this printer.
