I use this printer as much for scanning and photo printing as actual printing. It is used also in a sharing process within the network. And, I use the wireless connection from my smart phone using Lightroom mobile to print. This is a great black and white printer.. It uses the large cartridge which saves money. Great if you don't want/need color printing. However, it was very difficult to set up for wireless feature. I had to have HP tech help and it took about 40 minutes for the tech person to get the wireless feature to work. Unless you are a "techie" you should just call HP for online help. Again, a great economical black and white printer.
