Hss Bowen Lights On Fujifilm Cameras

I bought this to use on my Fujifilm X-T1 (which doesn't support HSS) so I could do outdoor portraits with a very narrow depth of field. Works great!

I was looking for something sturdy enough to hold my Bowen compact lights and compact enough to travel with in a suitcase. This is a great product.

Correct speed ring that hooked up my Octodome soft box with my Bowen's lights. It was very hard to locate this speed ring.

Love this Fresnel. It does also fit my other non nanlite lights as well that have Bowen’s mount… (godox 150) I will be ordering many more of these as I love how much control I get out of them. So easy to shape the lights with the barn doors. Build quality seems great so far.

So I purchased this Nanlite FS-150 because I was told from a buddy of mine that it was a great light. And now that I own this light and I have tested it out. It really is a great light. I have some other bi-colour led lights that are Bowen's mount but I really wanted to get a video light that specializes in daylight. Right out of the box I was impressed with this lights build quality. It is also very bright and great for what I need for indoor studio filming. The Bowen's mount reflector is well made and helps when trying to focus the light in a more direct area. I like the control dial smoothness. Standard lighting effects which I can definitely use for some creative videos. The mount is sturdy and can hold the light with my 36 inch Bowen's mount softbox. Overall I am impressed with this light and I wouldn't be surprised if I buy another one in the near future. 5 star from me.

These are fantastic lights and they really work well if you have a compatible camera for their designated TTL/remote trigger. My Fuji GFX 100s works with these in HSS if I trigger them with a speedlight set to manual and HSS modes. Just wanted to share that workaround!

I ordered two of these to replace my old lights because I wanted HSS and a more functional controller. Happy to say every penny was well spent. These lights are phenomenal. The modeling lamps could be a bit brighter but honestly, that's the ONLY nitpicky thing I can dream up. The wireless X system makes life so easy. Just be selective on light stands because these do have a bit of heft to them compared to a lot of competitors. Units are packed well and include additional fuses along with protective dome. Very simple right of the box and the best part about Godox is that they have accessories readily available without complaints if you call their customer service team. Looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this new gear. Thanks B&H!
