I bought this to charge my Surface Go via the USB C port. Meets my requirements perfectly, and also can use it to charge my Huawei laptop. A useful product at a reasonable price.

We have a bunch of programmable logic controllers. Until recently when computers still had a on-board COM port we had no problem communicating. We received a new batch of computers lacking a COM port, so we looked for USB-to-RS232 adapters. Most models, based on the PL2303 chipset, we unstable in our environment. On the other hand, the USA-19HS provided stable communications to our controllers. Also, with the included utilities, it's easy to debug communications. The only downside of this adapter, is the USB cable that comes off too easily.

i use this with a 2 in 1 tablet computer, very portable. Runs on usb power, flashing LEDs tell you it's connected and talking to your devices. does not seem to lag, works well. fits well in gig bag with keyboard

I was looking for USB to serial adapter which will work under the Windows 7 and this adapter does exactly that. Even better - Windows 7 already has built-in driver for this adapter!

but it is unsettling to have the upstream light flashing

I needed to replace a Focusrite Scarlette 2i2 that was having driver issues with Windows 11. This Peavey USB-P needs no drivers and has worked flawlessly, so far. My only issue was that it did not include the USB type B cable. I scavenged a cable from a USB-connected printer, until I can purchase a new cable.

After my last mixer turned out to be a disappointment, (having blown a few channels from only two months of use), I was willing to spend whatever it took to find something more reliable and little less noisy. The 12XU was it.Very quiet, or transparent in a well treated room.I really like the one knob compression, (just a little goes a long ways). Even using a pre-amp on the mic was still quiet enough for mixing with background music, (or easily pulled using NR software for solo VO).I like the multiple color scheme that works well in a sea of buttons for quick grabs, (that I don't need to find my glasses to read labels).Lighted Mute buttons that say ON. Nuff said.A PFL switch to listen to channels independently when you're live and can't solo to investigate any issues that may arrise, or to preview a channel before putting it into the mix. I will certain use this one for live event work. It also has a solid build and feel to it.You'll have to download and install a USB driver for PC connectivity, and while it might seem like a minor issue, what you'll get is an ASIO driver to use in your DAW, (zero latency, ASIO features for labptops with non ASIO cards, etc). Nice. While the board is not difficult to use, One caveate is the USB input. It requires input level adjustment via an Attenuator Function, found on pages 22 and 28 of the manual. Read it, or weep.My only gripe was having to provide my own USB Cable. So, you might want to order one with it.

USB 3.0, included USB hub, external powering and complete flexibility for your ports to be in or out, what else could you want? And now they include rack mount ears in a clever arrangement. Finally the best part - make sure to install their custom driver and don't use the default Windows one. That way you get interface multi-client, meaning the driver does not get locked to one client (so you can run multiple applications off the interface at once). Otherwise avoid the MOTU interfaces. I had to junk a MIDI Express XT because their driver (from 2013!) refuses to let a Windows computer sleep. They verified the issue, but yet at the time of this review, many months later, they neglect to fix it. So I had to buy a new interface, but this one is better anyhow.

One day a USB C gen 3 connection failed causing a tethering program to crash as only gen 2 was available. I used this adapter to connect to a USB A gen 3 port to get the job done. It turned out that Microsoft (in their inimitable way) had replaced the manufacturers USB C driver with a generic driver during an update that caused the ASMedia 3142 to provide Gen 2 service only.
