Hubsan Camera Drone With Screen Remote

The battery is exactly like the one that came with the Hubsan X4, so it fit exactly like the original.

Small but good, enough for my camera and drone.

The VL 1 is an excellent video and still camera! It have some of the performance of my A7 III and A9! The vlogger kit is a must have if you buy the VL-1. I use it to video dog agility training, my physical work out. And take stills of my dog in action. The bluetooth remote on the tiny tripod makes user experience top notch. I used it as an independent hand held remote to start stop recording or to take continuous stills while I am running. It’s range is well over 70feet. Battery life is excellent. I got over an hour of use in one full charge. This camera has not overheated on me in hot Colorado summer outdoor sun! My RX100V overheat and it drain battery life like drinking water! Out of the box, this camera and remote tripod work like a charm! For those who want a little custom function set up, the menu takes some figuring out but I am familiar with Sony menu from my RX100V and a7 III and a9. I don’t vlog. Hence the wide angle range is good enough for me but I do wish the f/stop at f/1.8 can stay at 50mm range. I own a small rig cage for my RX100V and I thought the cage will fit the VL-1 but regretfully not. Battery and SD card compartment is not user friendly. I have to remove the tripod mount every time change battery or sd card. But I guess some things has to give with it compactness. The flip screen is an excellent upgrade to all my Sony camera I own! LCD screen brightness need an upgrade. Not bright enough in sunny skies and no touch screen like my Panasonic GH5 has. The tiny speaker location is at the bottom of the case! It should be front facing so that the beep and playback recording is audible. It took me awhile to look for it to find it is sitting at the base! I bearly hear the audio when I set the camera freestanding on the table. Overall, it is an excellent video and still camera for novices and pro users. This camera lives in satchbag like my cell phone! Its bigger brothers now don’t get to go out with me that often.

I use this prompter in a small green screen setup. Subject is about 5 feet from the camera, and the prompter works perfectly. The only issue I had is with the remote and the software that is listed on this site and comes with the prompter. The remote didn't seem to work with anything, and I couldn't even find the app as listed. However, if you have an iPhone, the iCue and iCue remote app work beautifully. You can adjust the size and speed of your script very easily, you can go backward, forward, pause, etc., and you have as much control as you'll need. I was set up and rolling within 20 minutes of purchasing. Can't go wrong for the money. HOWEVER, I do have it mounted on a tripod and would think this would be very heavy for a camera man to lug in the field.

I am using this tripod for shooting low shots from the ground with a remote cable connector and the back of my camera's articulating screen.

A must have to fly your Hubsan X4 since one battery only lasts about 6 minutes. But use with care as it is a lithium battery.

This is the second set of 4 batteries that I bought for my Hubsan. They perform well within their 5-6 min charge duration.

The drone, remote, 5 batteries, chargers, and filters fit with plenty of room. The case is sturdy and compact.

I got this to hold my new drone. The Small size is perfect for my drone, the remote controller, with room to spare. Right now I’m using the extra room for sunscreen and bug spray. But it would also hold extra batteries. I like the moveable pocket. I’m using mine with a PD strap I already had.
