I tried several universal ceiling mount for my new JVC DAL-RS45 projector but not suitable for RS45. Peerless PRG-UNV ceiling mount is great suitable for JVC DLA-RS45 and precision gear design for roll and pitch adjestment. It's the most important for me to have precision adjustment. I used this with a Peerless ceiling plate and universal flat screen mount to install 32 inch flat screen TV in garage. I have a similar set up in my lanai but it has a fixed length extension column. The adjustable was very easy to use and looks great. I did have to take both screws out of it to adjust it to the desired length. The screws go back in new holes that are exposed when you expand the column. This was a bit difficult because the threads had powdercoat over spray in them so have to be careful to avoid cross threading. Otherwise the usual Peerless high quality. 5 |

I replaced my hot-light setup with this kit and I am very happy. The equipment is sturdy and well constructed and the carry case is lightweight yet sturdy with a small footprint. The lighting temperature and intensity can be easy adjusted to match any situation that you encounter. The option to switch between the barn doors and the softer diffusers makes the kit perfect for video and photography shoots. Upon arrival my kit was found to be missing the remote control unit. I contacted GVM directly and they took care of this immediately by overnighting a remote control unit to me. This is a great lighting setup for the price range with customer support that backs up their product. 5 |
