Hurricane Harvey Path Weather Underground

I bought a several of these C cell alkaline battery packages to donate to the Hurricane Harvey relief/recovery effort. I know from past experience that RAYOVAC batteries are reliable, and the re-sealable packaging should make them less susceptible to environmental exposure; although I don't think they'll remain in the packaging very long. The quantity packaging is also easier to ship than individual batteries or battery pairs. Looks like I might have to get more, to send to some of the other disaster sites.

Plenty of power Reserve worked great for my purposes until unfortunately both of them got flooded during Hurricane Harvey down here in Texas will be repurchasing them both soon excellent features on this model.

I have used this bag daily for almost during my career as a photojournalist (20 yrs). Lost the last one to Hurricane Harvey (could not wash the bayou water smell out). Somewhat water resistant material gives you a fighting chance of not getting your gear soaked when in a random downpour, small profile makes it not too obnoxious for moving in and out of situations. Deep enough that your 70-200 fits snug. Lack of velcro makes it easy to go in and out of pockets without making an audible scene.

Nikon has taken the path of providing a well built weather sealed line of lenses at a reasonable price, small and light. Canon is building wonderful lenses for their new Mirrorless cameras Super build construction, big/heavy and very fast but also at a very high price. The Nikon Z lenses are everything you need, I have never dropped a lens so they do not have to be bullet proof at $1000 more. Also it accepts a front filter, protect that glass and who knows you might need a ND or Polarizer.

This product is great! I was stuck in Hurricane Sandy's weather for a week and half shooting network news coverage. Minimized fogging, protected my eyes and viewfinder and was comfortable against my face for hours of shooting. And it didn't even blow off in 75+ MPH winds.

That lens is perfect for travail ! Not too Harvey !
