I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. Impressive blast of air, but now that I own it, I cannot see how it would perform any different than the LensPen Hurricane, aside from that it looks neat and stands on its end. I sometimes wish I purchased the large version for just a little more air! ...but the medium so far is working great (it's close to the size of the Hurricane). However I picked the medium so it would pack easier in the bag. I use it to clean lenses, filters, sensors, plus dust out of the keyboard and cooling fan of my laptop instead of canned air - now I don't have to spend money on cans of compressed air and don't have to worry about breathing in chemicals.

i tried many straps while at b&h and it confirmed to me you need to try a strap before you buy it. many were quite nice but the camera hung too low. the slr air strap minimized pressure on my neck and was nicely adjustable

I have had a number of Furman power conditioners in the past 30 years. The pl has always been my favorite. I have had some cheaper power conditioners also and they are not conditioners whatsoever. All they are.. are exaggerated power strips.. and when you pick them up you will see the weigh less than a pound.. because most of the electronics are missing in the chassis. Not so with the Furman units. Furman units are very heavy because they have actual electronics in them like filters and other things that are going to be making sure the power is conditioned correctly. They shut down upon overload and the filter make sure there is no buzz or hum in the line. You cannot go wrong with a PL plus and B&H has the lowest price in the country!!

Yes, power conditioners are boring. If you only have a laptop and an audio interface, you may even feel they are unnecessary. However, once you get more gear, you definitely need clean power to supply it all. If you have operated without one, and then add one in, it can clean up things that you did not fully notice before. I already use one of these, but I had to get another for a second gear set I'm building.
