I am using this product to hold my HyperX QuadCast microphone for work meetings throughout the day. The weight and feel of the materials is indicative of its quality, and it easily holds the weight of the microphone. I am using the clamping mechanism to attach it to my desk (as opposed to drill-mounting) and the base has yet to move/slide from its original location. The movement back and forth is smooth....REALLY smooth - there were some reviews commenting about a scraping sound but I have yet to experience that. The tension is easy to adjust and it holds the microphone exactly where I need it throughout my meetings. 5 |
