Hyundai 240Gb 2.5 Internal Solid State Drive

I purchased this product to move the Windows virtual machine that I run on my MacBook Pro under VMWare Fusion off my internal storage because I was running out of space on the laptop's solid state drive. While I haven't run benchmarks, it appears it to start up and run the Windows apps as fast (or maybe only very slightly slower) than from the Macbook's internal solid state drive. It is an excellent product for this application.

If you are installing an internal Solid State Drive to your desktop computer, you'll need this SATA wire unless you are able to scavenge one off another attached device that you no longer use. It attaches to the back of the SSD (or other SATA device) and to the mother board.

I used this drive to clone a laptop hard drive to a solid state drive. Worked well.

We use the Samsung 860 PRO SATA III 2.5 Internal SSD on our Atomos recorders. This drive is very fast and for 4K shooting it's excellent, solid and reliable. We never had an issue when using on location, and in post production we hook it up to the Lacie 2 Big Dock via Thunderbolt for fast editing and offloading. The prices are going down on these SSD's, if you need fast, high capacity drive go for the Samsung Pro line.

It fits the Samsung 1TB 860 EVO SATA III 2.5 Internal SSD drive perfectly and work great as an external drive for photo editing on a Mac.

This is an awesome deal for around $ . Previously, I purchased a separate 2.5 internal 1TB drive plus an external enclosure and paid almost $ . This drive is just a tad bigger, but looks much better. USB 3.0 is very fast compared to USB 2.0. Overall very nice product.

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it!

This is an extremely reliable and easy to use Solid State Drive. Once initialized it's easy to clone form a Hard Disk Drive to this unit. Take out the old drive, insert this drive, and put your seat belt on.
