I see one reviewer had issues with the WiFi at first. The key is to download the Drivers in advance, if possible, to a thumb drive (BIOS update, Chipset, LAN, WLAN, Audio, Graphics, etc). As we know, Gen-13 is Intel's final offering. (I also own the i7-1370P version, increasing core and thread count.) Gen's 11-13 use a P (performance) cpu instead of a U (mobile) cpu. I also own gen 8 and 10 units and they function very well. The latest units are very robust and utilize updated protocols. The OEM manufacturers are already charging Much more, so it's time to find an Intel while they're still available. I have compared this NUC13 i7 unit to many other mini PC's on the market, but the Intel NUC has, I believe, the best (and updated) features overall including TB4 and USB4, WiFi AXE. And the M.2 SATA port is an added bonus. 5 |

I currently have this installed on an i7-4790K & honestly have nothing but good things to say about it. For the price, the CPU Fan/Heatsink works remarkably well! Sure, there are other brands out there that can offer similar or better cooling, but at much higher prices... If you aren't overclocking and looking for a reliable, well-made CPU Cooler, then I highly recommend buying this product! 5 |

I upgraded from i7-4790k and it's a big leap in performance. I'm someone that goes for the best available that is reasonably priced, in hopes it will stick around for at least 5 years. And this cpu looks promising to take the next throne. We're talking about 12-core cpu so you better have a 360rad or at least a really great 240mm cooler ready for this, I will soon upgrade to an open-loop cooler because the 5900x just deserves everything. 5 |
