This was super easy to set up, and by far the best storage option for the price. It allows you to set up a password that can only be changed or removed by emptying the drive, which I appreciate. 5 |

This hardware encrypted usb is easy to set up and will keep my files protected while on this drive that can store up to 8GB. There is a great video on YouTube that also walks you through and explains the way this usb is setup and how to set and change a password. 5 |

I bought this model to upgrade from my DS-7608NI-E2/8P. This one has more storage compacity and uses the latest software/firmware. I had no problem setting this one up. The wizard work well for me. The menus were in a different format older NVR but I was able to figure them out with no problem. 5 |

Upgraded from 2 drive DS-216. Move the drives over to DS423 and it just rebuilds itself. Then add one or two more drives to storage pool if you want. Seamless transition!! 5 |
