Ice Watch Battery Removal

Easy install and removal.

I finally broke down and picked up an ice light. You'll need an extra battery for long shoots. Holds a charge as expected.

This is the original Sony battery, so it's designed for the camera. In the case of the ICE-6500 (6500), the camera uses a lot of juice. So I carry two charged spares with me when I'm out with the camera. Highly recommended!

Must have a second battery for the Ice light if you are working on a large shoot so you or you're client don't have to sit around waiting for a charge. You just keep shooting.

Wanted something wide and bright, similar to a Wescott Ice Light without the price tag. Did extensive research online and all the reviews of this light came back positive. The price is right on. The light is really really bright. It is bi-color. Also RGB adjustable. Sony battery powered or cable (not included). Extremely mobile. It has one 1/4 - 20 screw mount on the bottom, which can tepidly hold a magic arm, provided it's tight. The light is not too heavy, but it's not featherlight either. You can bounce the light or hit it directly on the talent, and it produces a consistent, flicker free semi soft beam. I highly recommend it. It also tells you the battery power left, which is a dream.

Great for scouting. Charger port does not require removal of battery and handy for high usage. Lights on lamp tell you when unit is charged.

I recently replaced the battery in my Back-UPS ES725. Removal and installation instructions were excellent and the free return of the old battery was a real plus.
