I use this charger to charge AA NiMH Baateries. The display gives you a rough idea of the status. Charger stops charging each battery when it is fully charged. Charger does not generate much heat when charging. 5 |

GREAT idea. Always carry a spare battery,, and if I don't use it,,, I swap it with the one in the camera when I get home. That one goes into the charger. When I forget,, I charge them both - - at the same time !!! They charge independently,, screen shows what the % of the charge - for each battery. Nikon charger doesn't give you a clue how long the battery will be on charge,, or how much of a charge is in it. Sure,,, you can plug them into the camera, one at a time,, and figure it out... but,, WHY? Loved the idea enough to buy their 8 AA/AAA battery charger... 5 |
