This case is ideal for transporting a camera and an extra lens, with room left over for accessories. Depending on the camera, you can even get three un-mounted lenses and two bodies in it comfortably. I remove the center foam, and the camera and lens stay in small neoprene pouches, which gives them and extra margin of cushioning, with plenty of room around them for film or accessories (see photo). Don't forget to include a desiccant package to keep moisture out, especially if you working in a marine environment (the desiccant in the plastic case, which makes it easy to recharge in a microwave is the best; B&H sells it). This is my third Pelican case; keep the seal and the mating edge of the case clean, replace the seal every few years, and your case will provide years of protection. 5 |

The case is ideal for one DSLR and a few accessories (charger, extra batteries, filters etc.)You could fit a a DSLR plus small telephoto lens in the case but there wouldn't be much room left for any other accessories. Since I'm doing studio and macro photography it's much more convienent than the soft camera bag I had been using. Very good value for the money. 5 |
