Ideal Screen Size For Computer Gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Currently using this monitor for gaming with a PS5, and as a monitor for my computer. The versatile functionality is amazing. Using it as a regular screen for gaming is amazing with. Nice gaming and crisp detail. Currently playing Horizon - Forbidden West and the details are perfect. Also use it for school to have more screen space from my computer. Connects easily with USB-C and no resolution is lost. I'm able to open (4) windows and multi-tasking when writing essays and research. Lastly as a streaming and watching shows or using the local TV is easy, but it's a little tricky at first having to set it with SmartThings. You do need internet for the initial update. Other than that the Smart Monitor M7 is perfect for all types of work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The computer monitor is very nice! I use it for gaming with my ps5. It has great graphics. The curve is perfect for more of a 3d look to the screen while gaming. It gives you the different options of screen size which is also nice. The only thing I'm not a fan of is no speakers on this monitor. But great purchase overall!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few months ago now for a gaming computer screen. The graphics are AMAZING!! Entering the games I've played for years is suddenly like my first experience all over again due to how clear and focused everything is.

I knew it was time to replace my old monitor (an Acer B223W) which had served me well for over 10 years. But what to buy? I read all the descriptions and reviews of monitors I could find-- knowing in the end I would settle on a monitor that would best meet my own specific needs. As impressed I am with large monitors (27+) I typically work close to the screen and desire full vision from different angles. It is perfect for viewing the size of the photos I share, and it is ideal for viewing videos in high quality 1920x1080 format. It is also ideal for viewing typical .pdf documents. Also, I was ready to enjoy all the subtle colors which this monitor is capable of. It is a great improvement over my last monitor. I now notice colors I hadn't previously. If one is buying a monitor, one should not sacrifice viewing quality for the size of the screen. I live in a small apartment and the 24 is ideal for me. I haven't been disappointed with this product in the least. This monitor has capabilities far above my abilities now, but I hope to explore them when I can. The monitor worked straight out of the box. I was a bit nervous because I rely on Linux as my operating system (currently Mint), but I had absolutely no problem. The instructions and set up are clear and simple. The monitor adjusts and turns easily to suit me. It also is solid in design: nothing tacky, flimsy, or cheap about it. It is expertly designed with the serious photographer or artist in mind. When I purchased this, I was able to get a good holiday bargain at BHPhoto. A shading hood was included for free (I wrote a review about that also). The hood is real icing on the cake-- it helps to make the monitors quality viewing features really stand out, especially on bright days. Thank you BenQ and BHPhoto!

While the size isn't ideal for people with fixed-focus webcams, this 5' x 7' green screen is nearly perfect for me who just got a Logitech 920 webcam that can zoom in. Set up and break down is a breeze, especially if you intend to reuse the screen as I do - you just pull the screen up right before turning on your webcam, adjust the webcam so the green screen fills the area, and chromakey away! At the end of the session, pull the screen back down into its base - it's that simple. Having previously used a 5'x7' cloth green screen and a stand, I know how big a pain that is to set up and break down. Compared to that, this takes no time at all....

I'm not using this monitor to do any serious gaming or production, simply needed a bigger screen to work from home. at this price, (and pretty good reviews on youtube) this was a homerun. i am hitting excel like never before! with the WIN+arrow key i can work across 4 windows in each quarter of the monitor quite well at this size. now that i've been using it for about a week, i would highly recommend getting at least 4k if you are getting any monitor close to this size - any lower resolution and it seems like a waste. love that it has USB-C input. monitor stand leaves a lot to be desired for.

I bought it for my use, but my son uses it for his gaming computer. Love it!

There's no other computer I would rather have than an iMac 27'. Its design is amazing, the screen is the perfect size, and it performs really well.

I purchased this MStand for use with a 13 Macbook Pro. The stand is very sturdy and actually helps minimize the risk of spilled coffee on keyboard. As to the 'angle' of the screen; I have an XGEAR shadow cover (which limits opening a bit) and I am 6', The screen is about perfect. I can see under circumstances of taller people may wish a greater angle. It is possible to slightly bend the MStand (hard, but can be done). I can see no reason of those under 6' having a problem about screen angle. It will also be without saying that you should rely on a mouse and additional keyboard as the raised level of computer makes it ergonomically unfeasible to use tracpad and computer keyboard. Please bear in mind, I believe the stand size is larger for 15 and 17 computers. Therefore, reviews will be applicable for the size of computer. My stand is perfect for 11 and 13 computers.
