Ikon Westone In Ear Monitor

These sound as good if not better then my Westone UM Pro 30’s, but these sound noticeable smoother even at the same volume levels. Bass is also very good. The build quality is also very good, and the cable is of equal quality. The packaging is probably the best I ever seen in IEM’s at this price level. You get plenty of ear tips ( I’m using the medium size memory foam tips) but I’m sure you can find a ear tip that is good with most ears. Fiio also throws in a nice little plastic case and even a soft pouch. I’m keeping these!!

great sound, great bass, great price. I have porta pros and also Westone UM2 (in ear) the westones have been my favorites for the past 7 years that I have had them, the porta pros are very close in detail and overall sound quality at 1/10 the price. Great when I do not want all of the isolation/noise reduction of the outside world that my westones provide because they are in ear, for example when running in the street it is good to be able to hear a car as it gets close. A must have for any music enthusiast.

This is cord has the same quality as the original Westone cord that came with the headphones.

These earphones are great. I tried Westone, Beats, Klipsch, and many others but could not find any better especially for the price.

The lens will be used with my Zeiss Ikon camera for black and white fotos primarily.

I had the Westone UM3X in-ears and I have to say that my new IE4's blow out of the water. I use them on tour with my band and have to say that nothing comes close to these in-ears.

I have been using Westone in-ears for over a decade and I have loved all three pairs I owned. My first pair of UM2's lasted 10 years before I stepped on one of them, I tried gluing them back together but decided I might as well buy new ones. My second pair were UM Pro 30s and they have been going strong for 4 years. I bought this pair of Pro X20s for my wife, but I have been using them the past two weeks. I cannot tell any sound difference between these X20s and the 30s I have, but I will also note that I use them for drumming and haven't listened to them back to back. The biggest difference I have noticed is how light the wire is on these X20s. It is so light and flexible, I can barely tell it is there. When I put them on, I cannot feel the wire at all. Very different than the thick, black, twisted wire on the old UM2 and 30s I have. One last thing I have noticed over the years - Westone in-ears require significantly less volume than any other in-ears I have seen or tried. Before I plug them in to a foreign sound source, I always cut the volume at least 75% from what the last in-ears required. I've also mistakenly blasted full volume sound through both pairs of my older UM2s and 30s without damaging them whatsoever. Definitely worth the price! Go with Westone, you won't regret it.
