This single-purpose adapter may be more reliable than an Ethernet port combined into a multipurpose USB hub. Still, with all such adapters, you may sometimes need to unplug and re-insert the USB hookup. TP-Link also has a USB-C version; I've purchased many of both types.

Not much to say, it's a USB to Ethernet adapter. Works exactly like you would want it to.

It provided an adequate charge and a stable internet connection without any issues. This ethernet hub used along with a good powered USB 3.0 hub is a cheaper and is better solution than the $200 docking station that Microsoft sells for their Surface Pros. Half the price and with large hub you can get 10 USB ports instead of only the 2 ports that Microsoft is offering. It's worth it..

I replaced a previous VAVA adapter because it was dropping the ethernet connection. This one does not have that issue. It has one less USB connection, but that is not an issue for me.

My laptop doesn't have an ethernet port. This USB adapter is a great solution.
