Imac Startup Manager Bluetooth Keyboard

Keyboard feels good. Screen bright. Fast startup.

Faster startup, faster focusing, more functions, Bluetooth... this is the best point and shoot camera in the market. I have had all of them since the M1 and I plan to continue upgrading every time a new model comes out.

Rather than opening up my iMac to install an additional SSD startup disc inside with a kit I opted to use this. It works great, so much faster than the internal HD. Second one, the original HD failed all to quickly out of warranty. Plus, I still have an additional slot to access any of the old drives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using as exterior monitor to my iMac 2020 running flight simulation software X-Plane11 and Air Manager. X-Plane runs on my iMac monitor and Air Manager shows plane's instrument panel on my TD1655. With touch capability and the addition of a device called Knobster, I can activate any control knob or switch on the instrument panel to make changes, and not have to use mouse or keyboard when flying in simulator. Really cool. I love the monitor.

Read the fine print. This uses Bluetooth LE, and that requires an iPad3 or better. After wondering why it didn't work with either iPad2 here, I found that tidbit (which I had missed) in the fine print, hemmed, hawed, and opted to upgrade the iPad side of the system. It is a quality product, which on the one hand seems quite pricey for what is effectively a 2 button bluetooth keyboard, but on the other hand is much better made than whatever I might kludge up from a cheaper bluetooth keyboard with many more keys. The keys are lit, soft, and silent, and the device is considerably more affordable than some others in its niche - and with the keys on top, not over the edge, it works fine on carpets (some reviews indicate that is a weakness of some competing devices.) For hands-free page turning it really is ideal. Intended for foot operation, it is a bit larger than you'd expect from the pictures.

I have missed having a tactile keyboard for my iMac. I now type much faster with less mistakes.

This keyboard works well with my Dell laptop. Easy Bluetooth connectivity.
