I've owned Sony mirrorless cameras for years. Before that, I was a Canon shooter for over 40years. Sony is great. Love the color, the flexibility you get with their bodies, the lenses available--not as many as Canon, but not bad. The a7R IV has so far performed flawlessly. I like the ability to use app-c lenses and get a 26mp image or to use a full frame lens and crop in on the image which is very useful to me when photographing birds and other wildlife-my primary subjects. And landscapes of course are incredible with a 61mp sensor. I strongly recommend this camera body. 5 |

This is the lens to leave on the Sony Mirrorless cameras, if you need more image in the frame, move closer. Less? move backward. It is tack sharp with little color fringing and stops down to the Holy Grail of 1.8 The biggest drawback is the cost but if you watch for it, you may catch it on sale as I did. Then snap it up. 5 |
