Import Photos From Ipad To Windows Computer

Love how it got so much better after the most recent update! I liked it before, I could easily import my photos and videos to my iPad, but now I can see everything from the SD cards I use on my camera. It'll even see my hard drive and all the files on that. It's small too, and conveniently placed on the side, especially if you're using the apple keyboard folio.

DC Technical Support is useless. The issues with using this are embedded in Windows 10 control panel and the new Color Management. Not only do you have to change the config in the printer driver and your Image software i.e., Photoshop, you also have to go into the Windows 10 Color Management and disable Windows color management for the given device before you even start. Without doing this, the spectrophotometer gives periodic errors. You have to then import your generated profiles into this cache, which doesn't recognize the profiles in the directory until you import them. To get it to work properly, you have to assign in Photoshop, but you also have to tell the OS about the profile or it will still fail.

How did this thing know that I wanted to import my photos so quickly? Does it have special powers?

When traveling with just my iPad, I like to copy my cards to this drive, rename them with 'FileBrowser Pro' and then import them into Lightroom Mobile. I also copy the files on the SanDisk to second SanDisk so I then have 4 copies: one on my iPad, one on the two Sandisk SSD and one on my original card. This drives are fast and so far very stable

I read the reviews and decided to purchase this reader despite seeing some low ratings. I just kept in mind people were saying that the CFexpress Card gets really hot if you leave it there for an extended period of time. That didn't bother me though because I always import my files into a separate SSD/HDD and then eject my cards right after. I never edit off the memory card. I have a Canon EOS R5 so naturally I thought this would be the best option because the R5 uses a CFexpress Type B and a UHS-II. I was right, and I have absolutely no regrets about purchasing this reader. I love it! I'm not sure if this is intentional, but the base is magnetic and it stuck to my metal desk. It's slim and portable enough to fit into one of my backpack pockets, and it works on my iPad Pro! I can import footage from my camera to my iPad Pro to edit my photos and videos which is amazing. No complaints from me! If you're on the edge, just buy it already!

I bought two of these to put in an external Thunderbolt raid drive. I use the drive to import photos into Lightroom. As a wedding photographer this offers me an instant backup in Raid with mirrored drives. They still run fast. Way faster than my old drive. This SSD is faster than my drive enclosure, so I am sure I do not even use their full speed. They have been a breeze to instal and are wonderful for editing my photos without lag time.

I could not upgrade the firmware from Godox through my windows 10. So after a computer professional looked over the situation said that Windows 10 would not recognize the upgrade due to the time Godox wrote the firmware upgrade. He used Windows 7 and the firmware upgrade worked.
