Impulse High To Low Line Out Converter

Bought this one-use camera as an impulse buy in line at the B&H store and it was as fun & nostalgic as I hoped it would be. The sounds of the high pitch flash & film advance wheel brought back memories of elementary school field trips and summer camps. In a world of unlimited high resolution digital images it was nice to know that there were only 27 images for my Big Apple Long weekend and I made those 27 count. I will probably do this more often & for more reasons.

This kit is an incredible deal for the price. It is almost at an impulse buy price. Even though the price is low the performance is excellent. I decided to take out and give it a test run before using it for any real work and I was not disappointed. The units connect automatically and I was getting a signal a few seconds after powering them on. In my non-scientific test I was able to get a little over 500 feet before running out of space to go further. At this point I was still getting a consistent signal. I noticed that after I passed 400 feet I got some dropped frames here and there but I was at a park with trees and slight hills so maybe the line of sight was not ideal. I imagine that the further you go the more critical line of sight becomes. Overall this is great kit. For the price I could not be more happy.

This was the perfect connection to allow a separate signal from there Line Out on the Portacapture X8 to the Mini XLR inputs on my C70 Cameras

1) regarding the headphone: it is of high quality & very suitable to me as a licensed HAM radio operator. It working very well with my ICOM7100 transceiver. It is exactly what I need, only headphone without mic ..... 2) regarding ZOOM H1n: it is beyond my expectation ! I searched for about 5 years for hand held audio recorder that support both LINE LEVEL OUTPUT & INPUT to use it with my Tecsun H-501x radio which is a meltimedia player also, & has Line Out & Line In ports, but has no built-in recorder. ZOOM H1n is doing exactly what I need. The ZOOM H1n has automatic record level option. Just activate this option & wait only for 1 or 2 seconds after connecting between Line Out of external device & Line In of ZOOM H1n & last will adjust level input so that your recording will never be distorted ! I tried this setting even without activating limiter & every thing was very okay. This option explained well in user manual. But, big surprising (a very happy surprising) that NOT documented in user manual is that the ZOOM H1n will AUTOMATICALLY adjust it's output level when you connected it's Line Out port to In port of external device so that ZOOM H1n audio out will be match other device (will be at Line Out level if you connect it to Line In port, & will be at Mic level in if you connect it to Mic in port & will be at suitable level with headphone if you connect it to headphone so that sound will never be low [Line in], nor being distorted [Mic In] due to being high, nor injurious to your head [headphone])! Really I was lucky when ordered this kit ! Thank you BH Photo & Video for the cute deal that you offered !

I have this hooked up with my PC's Line Out with Realtek Audio Console and with my AKG K240s, sound quality is very nice. Construction of the amp is solid, all ports are secured and dials are easy to turn. I would recommend buying a four channel amp like this instead of a single channel for its versatility for use cases such as podcasting or studio work. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

I can connect my audio recorder (LINE OUT) to my video camera (MIC IN) and no need to record audio unless using as a backup on the original audio recorder. Using a ZOOM H8 your able to adjust the settings and you are good to go.

Connection took few minutes - there are lots of cables to be rearranged. After this no issues at all. Image quality on the screen (1680x1050) from standard PC and Dell E6400 laptop are fantastic. For unknown reason the laptop did not recognize the USB gear immediately, but after reboot (living it alone alive at the switch) everything got fixed. Video camera works great connected to the back of the switch, phone jack connected to Line Out on the front panel will cut off sound from the speakers, living it only to whatever is connected to the Line Out jack. I tested the front panel USB with stick drive and RCI to USB converter - works fantastic. Highly recommend this to professionals and amateurs! It is expensive, but it deserves the money!
