In Ear Monitor 400

If you need in ear monitor and and don't want to spend over $ Then this is your solution.

If you have $400+ for a monitor, consider this one. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I like the eye protection features as well.

I bought this for my Alien Bees 400. It's incredibly sturdy. I have also clamped a monitor stand to it with a super clamp with the light on top and bagged one of the legs.

I use those to hold my hollyland mars 400, into my monitor or camera cage. Not that big, but well built and do the job as intended.

This monitor is very bright and clearly visible in daylight. Great viewing angle as well. I mounted a MARS 400 Pro on the back without additional wires using the accessory plate. An HDMI cable with a small head fits between the receiver and the monitor.

Let me preface this review by saying that I have used a lot of monitors in the last few years all the way from $100-$450, All types of panels from VA, IPS and TN. All types of resolutions from 1080p, 3440x1440, 1440p, 4k. I haven't owned a BenQ monitor before this, That being said I watched quite a few reviews on youtube and this one came highly recommended as the best value 1080p gaming monitor of 2023, 400 nits at this price point is unheard of and it's VERY bright which I like. The monitor is a bit chunky compared to some others but that really doesn't matter to me as the stand and overall build quality feels more like 300$ not 120$. I can't stress enough of how good of a deal this monitor is at $120. Pros: Packaged well to avoid damage. Amazing stand that feels very stable with no wobble. Very bright screen 350-400 Nits. No dead pixels out of the box. Comes with both HDMI and DP cables. Built-in USB 3.0 Hub with cable. Cons: I don't like the orange accents on the stand but what can you do.

It’s strange that I purchased the same size brite camera monitor from a different manufacturer a year ago for $1,400, and I find that this one is better, at 25% of the price of the other one. With all the same features. Just don’t even bother with the higher priced monitors, purchase this one it’s absolutely brilliant. It’s so crystal clear that I’m even getting critical focus without engaging in focus assist. This review is from a cinematographer with a career spanning 40 years and I’ve owned a ton of gear.

I bought the 3 year protection plan for my monitor in case of break downs since it is 400 dollars, better not to risk not having insurance. I am very happy and I feel safe knowing that B&H will have my back for whatever can happen in the future.

I bought this box to use with in ear headphones as I play on the worship team at church. I play electric guitar and sing, so this works perfectly to let me hear a general mix, my voice, and my guitar. Having the more me knobs available to me is so much simpler than asking the sound guys to turn me up or just singing louder. I can hear every nuance of my playing and singing now, which is a little scary. :) I can tell if I'm singing off axis or too far from the mike when I close my eyes. The sound quality and build quality are amazing. I take a copy of the monitor feed sent to our drummer since we don't have another monitor bus on our sound board. So this is a great, inexpensive solution to our problem. I like that there is a lot of head room on the pots. I turned each of them up to only about 9 o'clock or noon.

We use them with our E5 ear buds and a Sennheiser in-ear monitor system. These units are preferred by my band and vocal team for their superior fit.
