In Ear Monitor Drums

The only ones that I have found that I can actually hear my music while mowing grass without blowing my ear drums out. These are great and comfortable and no need to constantly adjust them to keep them in place. 5 |

Bought to replace another pair of broken earbuds used as in ear monitors when I play drums with my band. My first pair of earbuds where the wire passes over and behind the ear, which I am still getting used to, but once they are in they are comfortable and sound great. Great buy as always at B&H! 5 |

I use it with my in ear monitors, it allows me to control volume on click Mic and still get a line with my acoustic drums in the ear buds, works even better with my Roland TD30KV when playing live. I do wish there was an on off switch on the unit thou! 5 |

A little tight. But great. I was concerned I was damaging my ear drums from excessive AirPods. These are a great alternative. 5 |

I play drums professionally and own all kinds of headphones, including three different types of Shure's in-ear headphones (ranging from $100 to $400 a pair). All things considered, I prefer to play with Shure's in-ear headphones and I think these are an excellent choice. Don't let the fact that they're not as expensive as the others make you think that they're not excellent equipment. These headphones sound excellent and the isolation is top-quality. I sometimes listen to mixes with these, though I generally go with studio monitors. For gigs and rehearsing, these sound fantastic. They're also great for in the office; you can hardly hear a thing with these on. They're super-comfortable and I can wear them for hours without fatigue. I prefer to wear these and other in-ear buds while recording because they don't bleed a click track or anything else into the mics. 5 |

Put this thing on the roll bar and blew my ear drums out it was so loud! Great speaker for open air vehicles. 5 |

... and other loud environments! I monitor my drums while recording through these. They cut outside sound so well that I can hear the click-track without cranking the volume to absurd levels. I use them just for hearing safety without any audio playing through them while practicing also! On the street for boom mic handling, for mixing a live recording in a noisy club, or anytime you need great sound with maximum isolation these ROCK! The frequency response is pretty accurate - not as pleasing to listen to (sweet sounding) for extended sessions as, say a nice set of open-backs. If you need to monitor these are exactly what you need... If you listen for pleasure in quiet environments you should check out Senn's open-backs also. 5 |

Excellent sounding amp for electronic drums. I have an Alesis Command set and the bass response from this amp is terrific. My only qualm is that you cannot use the headphone input to 'monitor' your playing, while mixed in with an iPhone, etc. - either the speaker is engaged OR the headphones, not both simultaneously. Therefore, I use a second monitor (which offers bluetooth) as the music source, then output that amp to the KAT - which inputs my headphones and drum module. 5 |

I have some Gator bags for my drums, cymbals and hardware. They are solid, well padded, light weight, compressible and reasonably priced. I didn't know they also made bags for other kinds of hardware. For a large monitor like mine (24) there weren't many choices and no good ones, until I saw this one from Gator at bhpphoto. Turns out it's the only place you can get them. I carry this monitor everywhere and the bag gives it better protection than anything other than a heavy hard case. It has a solid strap and handle and gives complete protection for any minor bashing. I can't say how it would fare in a steep drop but my guess is it would be ok. The padding is pretty thick. Ordering was painless and it came within a week. They also have larger sizes, which I may get for my 32 and 40 monitors. Usually I discount reviews that are glowing like this. But Gator just makes good stuff. If you need an example just go to your local drum store and take a look. 5 |
