In Ear Monitor Engineer

I'm a drummer and Sound engineer for my band, and this bag is an excellent product! It has room for my kick mic, and 5 others plus 2 outside pockets for accessories, like an ear monitor volume control or ear buds etc. It's very well padded so no worries about tossing it in the back seat at the end of the gig. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to take good care of their mics.

My sound engineer brother recommended these to me, stating he's used them for years and simply replaces the ear muffs! I am able to discern instruments in years-old recordings with fresh clarity. I love them and will suggest them to others. Thanks!

I'm a software/electronics engineer, and dabbles in media as a hobby, so not exactly the target market. I really enjoy my MDR-7506 headphones and wear them for a few hours on any given work day. My main use for them is listening to higher bitrate web radio, also for skype, etc. Great performance, especially for the price! Sound is very clear, down to quite a low frequency, though I'm not really an audiophile or well versed in comparable headphones. If anything, I'd say the sound is a little bit clinical, exactly what monitors are meant for. Nice isolation; I don't have to use much volume at all to completely tune out nearby conversations in an office setting. Construction is solid, nice quality cable and connector seems like they'll hold up well. Ear pads and pressure are comfortable and effective. Ear cups flip around easily, to the point that it took a day or two for me to get used to taking the headphones off without cups flipping around. The blue stickers on the ear cups look a bit dorky IMHO, but they're easy to peel off.

If you need in ear monitor and and don't want to spend over $ Then this is your solution.

Fairly easy to mount for this non-engineer...I did it without help from my engineering husband. Mounted on a small stand-up desk and now I have more room for my laptop, external keyboard and mouse. The arm takes up space behind the desk so you need to figure that into your chosen location to be sure it will work. The monitor is staying in place. Desk is not super solid so monitor bounces slightly as I'm typing or putting weight on the desk, but it's pretty imperceptible to me and also my Zoom audiences. Great product!

Having 2 monitors is very helpful to me and this monitor really serves my purpose well. I highly recommend it. The resolution is great and the size is just right.

The headphones sound great and are very comfortable. Im a sound engineer and sound designer, I use this headphones to monitor my on set recordings and the do a great Job the conbination of great sounding and isolation meke this a great choice.

This has got to be the most intelligent thing that’s ever fit into a single rack space. I bought this for our band (6-9 pieces depending on the show) for monitor mixes. Half of us use in ears and half wedges. We were tired of being at the mercy of whoever engineered monitors for us at any given venue, so I mounted it in a 4 space rack bag with a 16ch splitter snake. BOOM! Now we have our own monitor mixes right from our iPads, iPhones, etc., without the extra weight and space of a traditional mixing board, and we send a separate 16 channels out to FOH. If they’re using a newer studio live FOH mixer, we don’t even need the splitter snake.� What a difference this has made! � PLUS, we can mix FOH with it also, for our smaller gigs. If we had a full-time FOH engineer, we wouldn’t use the venue’s engineer, we would have then mix from the iPad.� Kudos to Presonus on another stellar product, and allowing us to keep our sanity on stage. =D
