In Ear Monitor For Singers

We use these on the mixer at church for checking sound and they sound great (sometimes too great depending on how the singers sound) :-)

I picked up a set of medium priced wireless mics. Like most of them the volume level was really low. I hate sending things back. These mics had a really great front end with 235 channels. I thought about it and my options. Then I came up with using the FetHead in-line Mic preamp. To my delight the preamp fixed all the problems from having to crank up the mixer so far. No more noise and hum. I use it in conjunction with a limiter unit for Karaoke to control loud singers. It also increased the sensitivity distance of microphone for weak singers. These mics are great for musician/singers that need freedom to see music or the instrument while singing simultaneously. They take adjustment to your ear and should not be shared to preserve their life. They can cause slight discomfort on the back of the eat due to a pressure point caused by the rigid flexible junction if not adjusted just right. For the size of microphone, the quality is exceptional, and the latest generation has a bigger coax cable that feeds the receiver which should be much more durable. For pure singer voice quality, my handhelds have better quality.

We used two of these mics for our church youth group's music concert. They picked up all the singers well without having to use individual hand mics.
