In Ear Monitor Live

These are not standard headphones or ear buds. They are professional headphones for monitor live stream audio, etc. and do a great job. The audio quality is excellent! My only wish is that they were a little more comfortable for wearing for extended periods of time. I have a large head, so that may be the issue.

The Sennheiser HD280 is ideal for monitoring and editing your audio and video recordings and live performances. They have good enough outside noise rejection to be usable in live situations and are extremely critical of the input. Don't confuse these with nice polite hi-fi headphones for enjoyment - they are not. They will give you the unvarnished truth about your audio whether you like it or not. However ... (and this is big one) ... once your audio sounds good on these cans it will sound awesome everywhere else! I highly recommend getting this kit if only for the ear pads. They are a breeze to fit and are way more comfortable (and less sweaty) for extended monitoring than the PU ones that come as standard. The case is a nice add on and has space for the coiled cable (which I could do without to be honest). I like that you can flip an ear piece over so that someone else can listen beside you and also that they fold up to take up (slightly) less space. I initially thought that the headband was a little too tight but after a 10 hour editing session today I've changed my mind and decided that it's actually OK.

If I had to venture a guess…I would have to say that a VAST majority of all the live ear candy that I have been blessed by over the years has been through Marshall speakers. This was one of the easiest choices I have ever made. This one makes me happy

Could not beat the price, plus the discounted add-on leather ear cushions. I plugged these into my laptop and reduced volume control from 20 (internal speakers) down to 5. Clamping pressure will likely ease with use, I expect. These will be used in engineering live sound for concert recording and church services, and in converting old LPs to CD at home. The 1/4 gold-plated adapter screws on the mini plug; very secure. The EQ curve is designed to enhance the low frequencies, for reducing wind noise and other bass sources to improve the balance in recording and live sound reinforcement. This product does exactly what we bought it for. We needed something for our in-ear rig that we use live that is capable of splitting 4 vocal lines, 2 guitar lines, and a backing track line. We needed to run each of those channels to both our in-ear mixer and the front of the house. Using the ART S8-3WAY splitter, we were able to accomplish this. Convenient rack-mount too. Really happy with this purchase!

The ear cup fit is comfortable and well cushioned. I’ve used them for hours streaming movies, listening to music and taking phone calls with no discomfort. The JBL app is fantastic allowing you to choose the genre of music BUT it also offers a hearing test to further customize sound, treble/bass. OUTSTANDING! I recommend these earphones without hesitation!
