I purchased this unit to use at our house of worship as a live feed controller for our monitoring systems...it is simple, easy to use, and works great for this purpose.

We run an enterprise network for 250 End Users with multiple applications and systems. These devices are a nice tool for the price to help monitor the network and give some insurance in case a power source fails. I have had 4 of these online for years. No issues. The display indicates the amperage on the bus, which allows me to better balance my loads. I know exactly what is on each of my UPS systems. The fail over is fast enough from Pri to Sec to not lose a load. The Net card also allows for environmental monitoring, Input monitoring and control, as well as Load Control for cycling a load when needed. You can also shed your load so critical systems stay on the UPS longer.

Now I can finally use my 4 different monitoring systems in my home studio thanks to this little thing. There is no volume inconsistency or anything else. Takes a stereo input and gives out the same amount of signal through all four outputs.

The Sennheiser HD280 is ideal for monitoring and editing your audio and video recordings and live performances. They have good enough outside noise rejection to be usable in live situations and are extremely critical of the input. Don't confuse these with nice polite hi-fi headphones for enjoyment - they are not. They will give you the unvarnished truth about your audio whether you like it or not. However ... (and this is big one) ... once your audio sounds good on these cans it will sound awesome everywhere else! I highly recommend getting this kit if only for the ear pads. They are a breeze to fit and are way more comfortable (and less sweaty) for extended monitoring than the PU ones that come as standard. The case is a nice add on and has space for the coiled cable (which I could do without to be honest). I like that you can flip an ear piece over so that someone else can listen beside you and also that they fold up to take up (slightly) less space. I initially thought that the headband was a little too tight but after a 10 hour editing session today I've changed my mind and decided that it's actually OK.

I use these for in ear monitoring on stage with a band. They function perfectly, not only for carrying my mix, but I find the noise-canceling suffecient to block cut just the right amount of stage noise.

The Shure se215s are an EXCELLENT option for any serious studio or stage monitoring work. I first used them nearly 15 years ago in a live setting with Shure's wireless in-ear system. I never really thought much of them except that they sounded pretty good and would mostly stay in with my thrashing around the stage. Recently I was looking for a pair of wired earbuds for monitoring while traveling and I was pretty sure a mixer/producer friend was using these. We spoke about them and he told me he starts all his serious mixing tasks on these. I trust his ears and how right was he about these. These are the most accurate monitoring devices I've ever used. The have detailed flat bass response with crystal clear frequency response throughout and they are very comfortable. I haven't had ear fatigue or discomfort from these yet. I've completely stopped using my Audio Technica ATH-M50s because these sound so much better. I'm able to hear into the mix more in my own work and also just listening to a streaming service as well. These earbuds make listening to music fun. More fun than it used to be and I nearly always have music playing at home so I'm quite a music fanatic. The value on these earbuds is impeccable. Really they don't have any business being as good as they are and, as an added bonus for travel, they come with a carrying case pounce that also has a clip so I can clip it on my belt loop and not lose them. I hope to always have a pair of se215s. I'm a true believer.

I purchased these as a replacement for my trusty Shure in-ear monitoring system, and the originals got a real workout after over 100 gigs, but finally bit the dust with an intermittent cable. I purchased these as the entry-level replacements, and couldn't be happier. - Really good fit. The top-exit cable-behind-the-ear is a great design for active stage use. They stay secure, and are unobtrusive. The formable cable also helps to keep everything in place. - Solid build quality. The cable is rugged yet flexible, and it's replaceable. - Great sound. I'm a bassist/keyboardist/vocalist, so I need full-range performance, and these deliver. Smooth response, way down deep, without any unusual peaks. Bottom line, highly recommended as a solid value for the working musician.

These are a nice tool for monitoring audio. They aren't over the ear covering, and the headband has a cheap feel to it, but they provide a reliable source of audio to monitor. Very lightweight and easy to drive for headphone amps.

I'm playing keyboards and intended to connect my monitoring in-ear buds by using cable, instead of wireless. This is a good solution for me.

I dig the idea of in-the-ear monitoring system and the "Shure SE215" system seems a good way to get into the game. For the price they seem like really good monitors, with no noticeable distortion in either of the ranges, I'm a drummer so I crank them up. Installing them in the ears seems a little tricky at first, (for me anyway), but once in I'm good to go, and it sure beats hauling around a big heavy speaker! Rage of the age to me.
