In Plane Switching Vertical Monitor

Holds my iPhone securely with almost effortless vertical/horizontal orientation switching on the fly; also like the ability to mount on a cold shoe as well.

Just purchased by second one of another tripod. Sure makes it easier switching position of my Nikon from horizontal to vertical. Quality product that should last longer than me!

The quality expected from Manfrotto! The switching mechanism from vertical to horizontal is magnificently simple and beautifully engineered.

I fitted this to my mobile switching box to monitor an ATEM Television Studio switcher. It is the perfect solution. The loop-through on both the screen inputs and the LAN port makes these screens fit in very nicely in a small solution. The screens are bright (adjustable through network interface) and crisp. I connected my multi-view output on the one screen and program to the other and it helps a lot not having to lug around an external TV or monitor. I know it is not intended as an HDMI monitor and won't hold this against the product but having HDMI inputs would be nice so one can put an iMac mini in the rack and not need anything else.

Switching from my office iMac to my home computer demanded a monitor upgrade. This monitor is a fabulous option, just big enough for crisp viewing, yet not too large to take over my home office space. Big screen views and sleek presentation. This monitor Fits my minimalist esthetic.

At my desk, I have a Mac Mini and a Windows PC that I switch between from time to time. Before, when switching between them, I would be swapping over the wireless mouse dongle from the Windows PC to the Mac, as well as a wired keyboard. Needless to say, that was a pain of a process, especially with the Mac Mini under a monitor riser and the connections in the rear. Not great! I saw this product reviewed by Lon Seidman on YouTube and instantly knew I had to get it. Now, switching between the computers is much simpler. Just tap the switch button on my desk and switch the monitors input, and everything now works on the second computer. I'm even able to have my microphone carry over as well, which I never switched over previously! Additionally, if I ever want to use a different machine, such as my Surface or another Laptop, connected to my desk monitor, I can easily connect it to this switcher and use all of my desk peripherals in a snap. It's really great! The only negative I would say about this product is that in my setup the main box sits behind my desk against the wall, not in visual sight, so you can't see which computer is active before use or while you're switching. It's honestly not really a problem at all because you can quickly cycle through and find out if you're set to the device you're trying to use, but if I had to include a knock, that's the only one I've got!

I needed a larger, yet portable monitor for use with video switching and streaming. The Shinobi 7 has both HDMI and SDI inputs, and looping outputs, and fits my needs perfectly. In particular, I need a good multi-view monitor, without the size and weight of rack-mounted components. The Shinobi runs a very long time on NP-F batteries, or an AC power supply.

The monitor switch does EXACTLY what I need it to do. Even with different monitor settings, the switching is smooth and quick. And the little remote makes switching even easier.
