Using this to control wall speaker volume remotely to a stereo receiver in the next room. Works great working at line levels without having to have a huge high-powered speaker L-pad in the wall that eventually gets scratchy sounding and dead spots. Made by RDL which I've used in many custom installations in the past. Very reliable products, practically bulletproof! Had to get 2 for stereo. 5 |

I could see the next step is an in-ceiling or in-wall mount for this size speaker. 5 |

With limited depth in my 'studio', I didn't want to deal with the leg spread of a traditional C stand, so I bought an Avenger F809 wall plate with the idea of hanging this background support on the 5/8 stud of the wall plate. Unfortunately, the diameter of the receiver hole on this background support is slightly too narrow to accept a 5/8 baby stud. Fortunately, the receiver is made of strong aluminium so you can use a 21/32 cobalt drill bit (for aluminium) to enlarge the receiver hole sufficiently to accept a 5/8 baby stud if you are careful. By the way, the magnet attachments on the support ARE strong enough to hold a 6' x 9' foot collapsible background on the longer 9' side. 5 |

Installed this shelf to support a stand alone receiver in a formal living room. The installation was less than 10 minutes and was able to use the provided hardware with ease. Folks reporting issues using provided hardware on like shelves need to pre-drill pilot holes for large lag type bolts to reduce amount of torque required to fasten. The shelf bracket is very secure and the tray is removeable without taking out the hardware. Very elegant, secure and professional looking. Fits closely to the wall and does not protrude way out as some other units do. Check the dimensions carefully when you are browsing for overall L x W x H as well as how far out from the wall the unit goes. This one is perfect for supporting up to 25lbs. and seemed like it could easily support more. 5 |

We use this clamp for several tasks - mounting a fixed camera to a railing or wall rack, mounting the receiver for a wireless transmitter, and for supporting a microphone receiver. Excellent purchase. 5 |

When planning for finishing my basement, I went for a minimal look for my theater room - I did not want any components other than the projector in the room. I built a narrow hallway on the other side of the front (screen) wall with shelves that hold my components. I bought this to control theater room components (receiver and BluRay player) that are not in the viewing room. I am using this base unit in conjunction with TruLink® Infrared Wall Plate Receiver. This item works perfectly as installed for its intended purpose. Be sure and read the about the operation/installation before you order - don't just order assuming it will work for your application. There is a small IR receiver that your existing remotes shoot their signal to. This IR receiver is connected to the base unit by a long thin cable. The TruLink wall plate (additional purchase) can take the place of the included IR receiver for a more finished look but the back of the wall plate component must be wired to the receiver using an Ethernet or phone cable. The base unit is meant to be in the same room/cabinet as your components. Coming from the base unit are 4 IR emitters (for 4 components) that work best if attached directly in front of the IR receiver on your components. The emiters come with a double-backed adhesive. Alternatively, if your component allows, the attachment can be done by male-to-male 3.5mm cable. Like I said - works perfectly in the situation that it is meant. 5 |

This adapter makes it easy to mount the receiver on a wall or frame to keep it from just lying around the production van 5 |

I use this for a podium mic at church where a cable is impractical. The receiver is plugged into the mixer about 50 ft away behind a wall/window. Using 12V, there is a good, strong connection. I tested the mic 80 ft away behind another wall with no loss of signal. Sound reproduction is good and no RF interference so far. Cons: No indication of battery level, and I have to disconnect them and move them to a place where I can charge them. 5 |

I mounted my plasma on the wall in the family room and moved all my A/V equipment into the basement below it. The 40430 extends the remote to the basement with minimal lag time. A/V Receiver, DVD Player and Cable Box (FIOS QIP 6416) all work well. I have the IR receiver under a bookcase so the remote control range is reduced but I am sure this would not be true if the receiver was out in the open. 5 |
