I replaced my stock 256GB SSD for mid-2014 15” MacBook Pro with OWC Aura Pro X2 480GB. The difference is a night and day, if not more. I wish I have done this a few years back. I also have a 2018 MacBook Pro, but I use my 2014 MBP for all the ports it provides. It is amazing how 2014 MBP is still working this well with new SSD! (Optional) I would totally recommend considering cleaning out both fans and reapplying the thermal paste as well if you decided to get more mileage out of your old MacBook Pro.

I've bought at least 7 of these over the year since 2014 (it's now Dec 2019), and they are all working wonderfully. I made these my standard quick release for all my camera mounts. Glidecam, tripods, etc. I love that it's metal, and super quick to dismount. It's perfectly tight and stable. Way better than a Manfrotto because it's cheaper, and quicker to release, and just as stable.

In February of this year (2014) while I was serving overseas my father passed away. When I returned I was struck by the mountain of memories (photos, slides, films and documents) that needed to be preserved. I purchased the Perfection V600 Photo Scanner by Epson for the mission and it was a perfect choice.Most of the images I'm scanning have lost their resolution (color and image) over the years. The scanner is able to pull enough information (resolution)from the images and documents that I can repair them to near original quality.The only request I have is that the scanning software remain open after each scan.Thank You!

I have an older 2014 MacBook Air & updated it earlier this year which resulted in my mac running slower than before the update. I decided to purchase a new battery to fix this problem. I bought a Blue Yeti in 2014 and loved it.  About a year later it stopped working, but turned out to be just a faulty cable. It worked flawlessly until March 2019 and conked out. I bought a replacement. I use it to conduct live chats (over the internet)  with my classes, voice over for screen capture, and with voice recognition software. No complaints at all.

I have pretty much stayed with a Brother product for the last 20+ years in my office (tax & accounting). The prior machine wan an 8850 purchased in early 2017. It made it through this year's tax season but finally bit the dust over the summer. I had purchased the 8900 last year as soon as it became available again. It was a seamless transition. I am still getting used to the changed menu features but I find it to be much more quiet and still very fast in printing. It is also my go-to machine involving any form of 2-sided copying. I don't know much about the larger machines available, but this range has worked very well for me in a small office (about 80 reams of paper a year) and for personal use without being overly complicated.
