Put this right into my new 3.7 GHz i5 Mac and it worked perfectly. B&H helped me get the performance I needed at an awesome price.

I added this into my Windows 7 4th Gen i5 movie server.   It had trouble transcoding 4k videos on the fly (the CPU would peg at 100%).  I added this card in and updated all the drivers.  Now video transcoding is being offloaded to the card instead of CPU and I can now push multiple 4k files at the same time without breaking a sweat.  Much cheaper than rebuilding the whole server with a new generation of CPU/MoBo/RAM etc.

Came from i7 7700k to i5 12600k is a massive improvement, with 299 price is a great CPU for this price Highly Recommend this CPU.

Coming from a i5-6500 this was a massive upgrade. I run two 1440p monitors and it gets ALL task done no problem with speed. I do recommend undervolting the cpu due to its high thermal temps. With undervolting my CPU hits a max 65c playing CPU intensive games and a max of 82c running CPU benchmarks with a 280mm AIO water cooler. 10/10 would recommend.

Before upgrading to this CPU, my i5-6600K was hitting near 100% while my 3070 stayed around 40%. Now my 3070 is near 100% and this CPU remains around 15-35%.

I'll start by saying I have over the years gone back and forth between AMD and Intel with whoever has the best CPU at the time for my gaming habits. This later also expanded into some stuff like video editing and streaming from time to time. Though I still use my system for gaming 95% of the time. That said I also love to build PC's and typically enjoy the higher end enthusiast builds. Because of this I have over the past 10 years been using Intel's HEDT motherboards like X79, X99 and now X299 chipsets. Currently running an X299 Asus Rampage VI Apex board I had originally purchased with an i9-7900X. Based on this I felt an easy and now cheaper upgrade to the i9-10920X CPU would be the best route. Yes there are better AMD CPU's out there right now, but Intel still does very well in the gaming performance. So since this was just a CPU swap out for me it was the best way to go I could keep everything else in my system as is. This motherboard has been rock solid and only 2 years old at this moment. I was not disappointed, this CPU works great out of the box. Has very good turbo features for those that don't know how to overclock. It will consistently run 2 cores at 4.8Ghz, 2 at 4.7Ghz, 2 or 3 at 4.6, and the rest at 4.5 down to 4.4. Using Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0 software you can force older games that use typically 1 main core to use your strongest cores first for the extra speed. If the program/game has great multicore support then you have the 12 cores which really is plenty for gaming and enough for a good balance of production unless you crunch videos all day. OC wise I have only messed with it some so far but it's not hard to get this CPU to 5.0Ghz on all cores with what I am using, a Corsair H115i Pro AIO water cooler.

I moved from Comet Lake(10700k) to Alder Lake and the performance is AMAZING! I've seen at least a 15-20% increase in CPU related performance. I am a bit of a benchmark junkie, and I have ran this CPU through its paces. From Cinebench, V-ray, PCMark10, Performance Test 10, Blender....uplift in just about every category. I use about 18 different benchmarks. I haven't had a chance to do my GPU benchmark suite yet. I've tested this cpu with different sets of ram as well. I've also tested with just the P-Cores with the E-Cores disabled. The TDP is listed at 125w, and provided you don't enable MCE(Multi Core Enhancement) it will stay withing a reasonable margin of that. I'm using a Enermax 360mm AIO, and temps are really good. I did do a quick and dirty OC on it. I ran the P-Cores all at 4.7ghz with the E-Cores at 3.7ghz with a core voltage set in the bios of 1.2v. Passed them all. This is plenty enough chip for most everyone, and considering the price, it also is a great value. I LOVE IT!

Six of the fastest CPU cores in the world plus hyperthreading on a mainstream socket, this CPU is what many of us have been waiting for. My sample achieved 5.0GHz and probably could do a little more, but I need 24/7 stability, so right now it is running at 4.6GHz at 1.19V to keep temperatures in check. I'm very satisfied, even though I had to pay over the MSRP due to scarcity, it seems worth it.
