Increasing Instructional Time In The Classroom

I was recommended this lighting kit via B&H when I realized that I needed continuous light for my instructional DVD project since I work during the day and moonlight as a creative. I have never used or purchased lighting before, and was pleasantly surprised by how easy to assemble it was and how it provides the lighting that I need, with switches that turn on/off the lights, 2 at a time. It also gives me the options to use the octagonal shape to reflect the light, a detachable cover for the front with velcro, and another option with a second layer behind it, and also a dish. I mainly use them to light a demonstration I do on a table top, without having to buy time by playing with daylight. It is cool to the touch, and not hot to handle at the base after shooting... Great thus far! My only concern is that I may have to do some post production to tone down the bright coolness that the bulbs give off; my ideal is to go for a natural (tint of warmth yellow) daylight.

I got this, after extensive research, to begin to do instructional videos as well as just use it for family photos. The menus are extensive but easy to figure out and use after a little practice. The touch screen functions are great for those who don't want to spend all their time scrolling. And speaking of the screen, it rotates all the way so you can shoot yourself without guessing if you are in frame. Don't know if I will shoot a lot in $K but the fact it is there means I can use this camera for a long time in the future. Finally, the audio input is what made me switch from my older Sony NEX. I did get a wireless lav microphone setup at the same time.

Short review: If you are serious about your photography, you need this. Updated all the time*Extra tools that really help*Instructional videos that really help* For $120 a year, it actually costs less than what I used to spend on Photoshop and Lightroom on average and I get more.

I use this product for basic mounting of B&W prints. The best thing about the product is the accuracy of the cuts. It worked the very first time just like in the instructional DVD which amazed me. It can also be used for trimming a matt board if needed. A simple product doesn't take up much space in my dark room.

I've purchased this product several times from B & H... each time in increasing quantities... I own a full recoding studio... everything from instruments to printing multiple copies of C.D.'s... of course these require the front, back & center art work... this product works great for double sided printing... no bleed through at all.. durable but flexible enough to include 6 page booklets in a single C.D... the people at B & H have been most patient and helpful when I was trying to select what product to use for my specific application... I would highly recommend this product & B & H to anyone who would require their wide array of products and services...

I already own both the Big and Little stopper. The little stopper is perfect at dawn or dusk for longer exposures without increasing the expoure time too much. Compared to the big stopper I probably use this 70% of the time. This is to complement a 2nd kit

I have been using this QR Plates for a long time, and I keep needing more of them with my increasing collection of photographic equipment. Works perfectly, but they are actually surprisingly expensive for what they are.
