This is a work horse mic used by every sound engineer to record any type of instruments:brass, percussion, etc.

I can finally hear the voices on documentaries. The foreground music and drama percussion would drown it out.

I am heavily into listeing classical music (European and Indian). The sound is extreley clear and very very crispy. The bass sound is of pretty high quality, but not overwhelming. And it is not a gaming headphone, its for serious music. I am happy that I got it.

Without the Five's we could not get the music to the right level to hear while playing along. With a pair of Five's and a Move, we have had seven people playing different percussion instruments (Drum Kit, Congos, Cajon, Tambourine, Clives, Wood Block, Bongos... ) and still hear the music.

I got this for my computer and music making. I mainly got it cause it had pads for when I make beats and to make it easier for my percussion. It does that perfectly. Gives me the ability to do so many other things and connects right up with Logic. You do have to manually put some keys in place but it's not too hard. Either way, great buy and a great product.

I am able to save all of my music instruments and notes and other things into my hard drive without any complications.

I have been using Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 for many years..sadly it failed. I viewed many potential replacements....one serious contender didn’t have a separate headphone volume control....unacceptable! I’ve been aware of Focusrite’s reputation and their Gen. 3 is garnering rave reviews. I was blown away. Immediately I noticed a bump in headroom. The overall sound was more defined across all frequency ranges. Setting up this item was a breeze in my DAW. N moments I was ready to work. I have only begun to use this but I am so pleased. I am also hugely pleased with B &H. Twice, in one month, they came thru. Prices beat out known music equipment vendor prices......shipping is ‘FAST’ . B & H doesn’t mess around. They are my ‘Go To” place now for my music needs! THANK YOU!!!!!

We were able to find noisy instruments that we never heard because our old snake was so deteriorated, had lots of hands splicing into it, and subject to cross talk. Very easy out jacket to pull through a rough tunnel. Professional labeling. This enabled us to move the amps to the stage and future in ear projects.
