I bought this to cut the cord with cable TV. The picture is better and it's great for organizing paid apps. The free programming is a huge bonus and was the other factor in getting Roku over a competitor.. The only thing I consider missing is CNN news as it's a subscription app. I would also like the ability to subscribe to TCM (Turner Classic Movies) through Roku .. 5 |

I am ready to cut the cord with the cable company...after buying my first Roku and found out what I was missing with the cable company I now purchased 3 more Roku devices one for every TV in my house and one for son at college...all I can saw is I haven't watched this much TV in years...i am getting channels for free that I would have had to pay for if I wanted them with the cable company...if you are thinking about it...take my word for someone who has bought 4 devices in like a month...don't wait just do it 5 |

I bought my TV just after the new year. I wanted a Smart TV for my bedroom since I am planning to “cut the cord” from my cable company. I bought an LG for my family room 4 years ago and have been pleased with it as well. The set-up was simple and it has a fantastic picture. I will buy an LG when it is time to replace other sets in my home. 5 |

I bought this when I decided to cut the cable cord. The remote is awesome. It controls the tv so no more extra remotes required. The only thing they could do to improve it is if I it was lighted. It has two buttons dedicated to my favorite apps. No more searching and much quicker than accessing home to find the app. It's very quick and response is great. I was hesitant to go from cable to streaming only but there really isn't much difference with the Roku Ultra. I love it and highly recommend 5 |
