Infinity Studio Monitor 120 Manual

Not much to it, set to infinity and go. Manual everything but it's really not difficult at this fixed focal length. I loved shooting with it!

Great lens. Manual focus is no problem, just set the lens a little bit before infinity and everything beyond 3 feet away is in focus.

This is a must for the camera bag - numerous uses - like locking your manual focus at infinity for nite photography, emergency fix for loose anything, even temporarily taping a small branch that intrudes on your macro setup - and no adhesive gunk left behind.

Lens is sharp. Rendition is good. Manual focus takes practice but focus peaking on my X-E3 works well and it makes photography a little more fun and zen having to think about exposure settings. When shooting distant subjects, cranking to infinity is pretty simple, although the focus ring seems to take it past infinity if that makes any sense.

I tried this lens out on Comet Neowise just after receiving it. The manual focus is spot on with infinity at the hard stop at the right end of the focus ring. The photos turned out nicely with clear stars and little CA. I really appreciate the ease of use so far for astrophotography.

- very sharp across field at f2, - manual focus with focus peaking is quick and accurate, - at f5.6 most everything is in focus, - no hard stop for infinity, However, the infinity mark is right on, - chromatic aberration easily managed in Lightroom, - being an ultra-wide the results are dramatic and pleasing, - small, light and inconspicuous, - looks great on A6000. I am really happy with this lens!

For processing five (5) rolls of 120 this is probably the best manual film processor. With this I use Samigon spirals....because they have a loading ramp. With two and a half liters, of chemistry or water, it is surprisingly not heavy for the inversion method of agitation. Because this tank is tall there is a very comfortable way to use it. Seated on a chair....place the tank on the floor....but not directly. Have a folded towel under it for rapping the item. (dislodging air bubbles) Using the provided spindle....agitate by rotation for approximately ten seconds every minute. That is right-left-right-left. No doubt some of you will come up with an even better way. For now, at least, this works well for me. Filling and draining is lickety-split. Joseph from the U.S.A.
