Initial D Arcade Machine Cards

I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer.

We set up machine vision inspections systems. These are industrial applications where installations are not always straight forward. We use Magic arms to do initial set up and testing of cameras and lights and to collect images for initial software development. Magic arms are great for field evaluation work. They are easy to use and adapt well to most environments. Only downside is traveling with them on airplanes etc. A bit bulky and can be a little awkward in hand carry bags BUT benefits way outweigh the downside for us.

I have not had a lot of time to use this, but my initial impressions are not likely to change. I own a precision machine shop and I appreciate well-made things. As soon as I took this out of the box, I was impressed with the quality of manufacturing evident in it. The fit and finish are excellent. The adjustments are smooth and positive. The ball locks easily and solidly. The lever operated receiver for the camera is the same operating in three positions. The anodized finish is solid and should last forever. This company will be my go to for this type of equipment from now on. I also bought the angle plate for the 5D Mark IV and it too is well made and fits nicely on the ball head. The stuff is not the cheapest, but, in this case, you get what you pay for.

Photgraphers cannot have too many data cards for their camera. Initial read was good. Cannot wait to fill it up with images.

I'm using these cards in my C200 and in my initial testing they work flawlessly. I know the C200 can be finicky with cards larger than 256GB and I tried using a SolidPod but it was a mess. This provides me with plenty of storage so that I can shoot hour long interviews.

I haven't had the chance to use this camera a lot yet but my initial thoughts are all positive. For me, there's enough of a difference between mirrorless and a DSLR that there is a bit of a learning curve. Yes, I was able to just unpack it and start shooting but there are a lot features to this camera that will take some time to totally understand. Photo and video quality are excellent. The FTZ Mount Adapter is a must have if you're already a Nikon shooter. The bag that comes with this kit is really not large enough to be practical. The XQD cards are great, been using them for years in my D4. The 32GB card is a good minimum size but I think it would be good to be using 64GB cards. A second slot would also have been beneficial however. As far as a weak point goes, that would be battery life. If you plan to do serious shooting or longer shoots extra batteries are a must. All in all it's a great camera.

My initial unit was defective but they made it right and the new one is operating as expected. It's very nice to have a single unit that can read all of my cards.

I have used only the SanDisk extreme pro memory pro cards or my Canon R5 and have never had one issue with them, in either the initial shot being taken or in the transfer of data to my laptop. The price on this card was just too good to pass up.
