Inkjet Vs Laser Printer For Color Printing

Im very happy with this printer.  I typically prefer the crisper printing, particularly with images, of an inkjet.  But the cost of inkjet cartridges on my Epson was too high, so I thought I would try a color laser again.  I have not been particularly happy with the color laser printers I have had in the past.  However, this one is a very solid build, pulls the paper straight, prints text extremely well and graphics good enough for me.  Paper curling is not bad at all and it takes additional paper trays.

This is my first impression and first ownership of a color laser printer which I purchased on the recommendation of the Office Depot Sales Representative. Easy to use, a bit bigger and louder than an inkjet but lower long term cost investment for toner supplies, so over time, less cost and better product and delivery than inkjet printer. Also, it takes a little time to recover if it gets hot from a massive job.

We spent years trying to find a quality inkjet printer and finally made the jump to a color laser printer. This printer has been easy to use, connected to all my computers and phones with no effort and has been overall fantastic.

Having used inkjet and color laser printer and paper combinations for years, I opted to spend less on a large format printer (epson 1400) and more on the paper. To my surprise, the combination was successful. The coverage is even with no fingerprints in sight. With using the correct color profile and color management, the reproduction of color and tones are almost dead on.

My old color laser printer died on me on duplex job I was trying to do. My research landed me to this one. Setting this unit up was easy on my home network. Printing from local system was breeze, I installed the app on my phone now I can check the printer status as well as printing directly from phone. I even tried the duplex printing and envelope. Printing a picture on normal paper came out so good that someone thought to use it a normal photo picture. I think I am beginning to like that printer a lot.

I needed a color printer occasionally as my laser is black & white for most of my printing I also needed an updated scanner to replace my old one! And on top of this, it was completely set up in minutes... I love this!!! I can also print from my cellphone!

Printer is reliable thus far (about 4 months) has all features needed, color laser, duplex printing and scanning, and even orders it's own toners as needed. I did add a second tray so it chooses the source automatically based on paper type requeseted by the job printed. A bit slow on some jobs, as it pauses the print to preform some sort of internal cleaning / adjusting. But can't argue with the results, quality outputs at very reasonable price.

I mainly print documents with occasional color printing, and I scan using my phone so I wasn't looking for a scanner function in the new printer. Easy Setup, Almost - Unboxing and initial setup were a breeze. The printer itself is a bit heavy, but getting it ready to go was quick. I plugged it in, answered a few setup questions, and downloaded the app. However, I missed a crucial detail: this HP printer requires a wired ethernet connection to set up with the app. After a quick trip to the store for a cable, I was back on track. Once I connected the cable, the app found the printer immediately and I was ready to print. This HP printer is a speed demon! It handles both documents and photos with ease, and the double-sided printing is equally fast. Even when using duplex printing, the speed is impressive. The documents are crisp and sharp, and even photos look good on this machine. For a color laser printer, this HP model has a surprisingly small footprint. It won't take up a ton of space on your desk. It also has a handy bypass tray that lets you print on specialty papers, which is a feature I might use in the future. Overall, a Great Choice. This HP printer is a great replacement for my old inkjet and laser printer combo. It's fast, produces high-quality prints, and has a small footprint. The only hiccup during setup was the requirement for a wired ethernet connection, but once I had that, the app setup was quick and easy. If you're looking for a fast and versatile color laser printer for home or office use, this HP model is a great option.

I purchased this laser color printer to use in the office for printing/copying/ and scanning. It was easy to set up and works great! The color prints are very good!

HAD 2600 color Laser printer, it was great. now have a 2025dn even better color or black&white printing and the toner last a long time/
