Innovative Microphone Stand

Great microphone stand!

This is a simple microphone stand.

It's not innovative or clever. It's not bespoke nor re-thought. It's a heavy basic throw-able tripod with a flat top and a screw-on tiny flat top for a laptop and an interface. If you want to play live keyboard with virtual instruments you should get this. I tried to come up with a custom box for a Mac mini and a small touchscreen... ultimately if you are putting a VI rig together, this is a good way to go if you don't use a rolling rack. Get a long bag like a drummer's trap bag and throw this in it with music stand, throne, speaker stands, mic stand, keyboard stand (I own 2 each of which can turn into a stick-shape when not in use), sustain and expression pedals... It's cheap, sturdy, and it holds things no one must ever step on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stand! I use it with my tablet and it is amazing! It is so convenient and innovative! It is adjustable and that makes things so much easier when I'm using my tablet. But the most impressive part of this stand is that it is a docking station with all kinds of features functions available. It's nice to have a stand that I can use to charge my tablet and my phone.

I had been using a cheap stand that I'd gotten for Xmas a couple of years ago and actually kept it together with tape and other innovative but lousy engineering. I finally decided to spend a bit more and I could not be happier.

This is one of the most innovative small light stand designs I've seen in decades! It folds to a dense, compact cylinder and opens almost instantly to a sturdy stand that will hold any Lume Cube lamp, and/or many other light-weight lamps or flash heads (up to 6 lbs.). This stand is ultra-portable and very easy to set up or to take down. Height can be set anywhere between 14 inches and 60 inches using the internal friction locks. An excellent choice for indoor use, but because of the small base radius, I'd be hesitant to use it outdoors if there is any wind. Great for any off camera fill or accent lighting.

great c-stand, innovative features, and really solid (yes, that also means it's heavy) now, if they could just change the color of that blue rubber grip (to black)!!

I cannot be any happier with my decision to purchase this innovative C-stand. As soon as I opened the box, I tried the auto leg opening and closing mechanism, and it only took me two tries to master it. It literally took me one second to either open or close the legs, and it was fun! It's not only quick but very portable. The turtle base and the riser fit nicely in my Tenba bag. I took it out on a location shoot, and I didn't think it was too heavy in a burdensome way. I also purchased the Kupo Runway Stand Base for my studio use. The riser, turtle base, and the runway are perfect combo that will serve my needs for years to come.

For an inexpensive microphone stand, it seems to be solid.
